  1. That's the thing, 2k went to the same well that brought us 2k20 and that's beyond horrible. In 2026 and this is their bag of tricks? That's shameful IMO, we still haven't recreated the essence and excitement that a good/great wrestling match brings out. At the end of the day , no complaining is going to change the way 2k works but IMO this mode and modes like it are taking away more time that they could use to polish the core game/fix bugs that have been there for years. Now you'll see more modes suffer due to another mode being focused on and I actually played the island all the way through till the middle of chapter 3. (I plan on finishing it) Overall, I didn't hate the mode but it was very barebones and needs a lot more effort next year to be worth your play time IMO.
  2. Exactly but I have a bad feeling that they'll find another way to monetize it further, if that's possible.
  3. True and there's a time and place for that when your game is 10/10, until that keep that crap to a minimum and overall what pisses me off the most is locking all those arena's and what not behind The Island. I get the "Brand Name" stuff like Nike or Adidas but WM 12/31's arena's being locked behind that is just madness. lol
  4. I get the idea behind all of this but Roman has done so many variants over his career, I'm sure we could have gotten a few real ones right? lol
  5. True, I wonder what happened to that missing snap suplex that we were supposed to get. I really wanted a new generic snap suplex but nope not this year.
  6. Here, Here my brother. I dont know anyone that enjoys the island. They all say the idea of it could work but the execution is beyond horrible. I've heard a few people say bring back the backstage atmosphere and habe different interactive events take place at a WWE Raw/SD/PLE but in its current state its @$$.
  7. 100%, I'm not a blind fanboy here that said I want everything from 19, just a few thing that would please me. I actually hate lame the Kip Up is in this game. I want it to be a start of a Payback, like how The Rock/HBK/Kane/Taker etc. would use it to start off their comebacks aka like how DOR implemented them. If I was making a Wishlist, let's add the fighting stances back into the game for some more flare. Hmm, interesting, I can't say I'm surprised, there is a good game in here just screaming to get out but 2k haven't figured out how to do that yet. I'd love to say you were right but I cannot recall, I haven't played 19 since 19 came out but overall my point was I miss that generic fall to one knee because it was used for tons of moves that didn't have their own specific animation attached to it. Plus, while I'm add it, I wish 2k would take a look at their game and fix the reversal system. Why does 1 RKO reverse properly and the other reverses into a oklahoma slam? If you have the right animations, use it.
  8. That's a new one to me, I've never seen a double down off the Boo-Yeah Mini Game. BTW: they need to add to that mechanic and give us the option to choose which strikes we want to have in it. I've done the strong strike when fatigued double down and when that works it's cool, no doubt. Overall, I miss the stamina, not how it worked but the idea of stamina is needed in a wrestling game, it just needed re-working. I miss rest holds and think they should borrow from DOR where you could do a Submission and choose whether you want to do a Taunt/Submission/Rest Hold etc, overall that's how they should work unless it's your finisher. I never gotten into the AI Tendency thing yet, do you have guide or something that would explain this crap to me?
  9. Exactly! In all honesty I forgot why I loved 2k19 because it's been so long. I had to go watch that video to make me remember and it stuns me how much of a complete wrestling package that was. So many little things added up to make a great pie and I don't think anyone here can argue that getting back Chain Wrestling, Removing most of the Boxing Stances in the game and those new matches improved the series but please give me examples as to why or how you can feel Fatigued Finishers are BETTER in 2k25 than 2K19? As I stated before every move in the game had unique fatigue animation attached to them and if they didn't have one you'd fall to one knee, how do we come close to that in 25? Also, when you say AI control what do you mean by that? Are you talking about the Tag Team AI Prompts you can choose in a Tag Match?
  10. Every year it's getting better but still, since 19 it feels like they make 2 steps forward and 3 steps backwards. Nothing they've implemented has been ground breaking or revolutionary and that sucks, man. I miss the days when these games were exciting and fun, had so many easter eggs and things to discover. To answer your question, minus the constant collar and elbow tie up attached to ever grapple, we're missing limb targeting, we're missing something as simple as Toe Kicks being on every moveset, it's a none existent thing unless you add it as 1 of your strikes, which in turn, makes the leg grapple reversal useless. Keeping the gameplay stagnate and stale. Add the Double Stacking Tables back, Squash Matches, Flesh out Tired Finishers so ever move has a knockdown animation. (like 19 had, it could have been a Generic Suplex or DDT, you had a tired animation. PLUS if the move didn't have 1, they had the drop to 1 knee which I REALLY miss.) Other than that, I agree the arcade style of the older games wouldn't work in the current 2k style but some mini games could such as the Double Down (That we NEED in the Game), Sleeper Hold Mini Game, OMG Moments (Ring Post Big Boot or Barricade Spear) etc would all be welcomed back in the series. I forgot the overall selling we had in 19 was AMAZING, It's easy to forget how good it was but I'm reminded by an Oldschool Moveset Maker from back in the day called Waylon Mercy that reminds me what we lost. Such as #1: #2 (this happened often in 19, I can't recall seeing it in the past 3-4 games) #3 Anyway, after reviewing a 2k19 retrospect, the youtuber also pointed out the lack of restrictions this game had. You could place the ladder anywhere, do finishers off the ladder through a table in the ring or outside, it didn't mater. It had Weapons Physics that we lost in the later games. Hell, look at this Ziggler like sell (Time: 3.10) & tell me it doesn't look amazing? Wow, after watching this video I makes me realized how much more we lost. All that stuff in the Backstage Arenas, GOD DAMN!!! Overall, I know most of us all starting to sound like Bret Hart and all we do is complain but what else can we do? 2k refuses to listen to our feedback so we're stuck to venting on Caws and Twitter.
  11. To answer your post, I agree with what you said about the good. When it comes to the bad, I'm not gonna argue with that at all. There's no doubt about it, it was better in our day. Each game mattered, and it was made by people that loved wrestling, and it showed. Each game actually had Easter eggs that surprised the hell out of us, like diving off the SmackDown Fist or Raw Titantron, and fighting in the Parking Lot Brawl Match and having the Boogeyman come out of nowhere, scaring the shit out of us. That was the cherry on top of a classic game. I've said it before and I'll say it again: it feels like these games stalled after 2K19, and for better or worse, that's how it feels. Did the improvements made to '25 help? Sure, but are we past what 2K19 brought to the table? No! No way in hell, and that's the sad part. The more you look into what 2K and the WWE wants to call a game versus what we have on TV, these games hardly represent the wrestling or the entertainment. Everything is stuck in the past, technology-wise. Hell, the newest thing this team added was The Island, and it was just a revamp of what they brought to the table back in 2K20. None of us here want to complain about this franchise that we've supported for years, but where it's at and the lack of giving a crap by the team is a major concern to me. If it wasn't for what I do yearly—and that is creating movesets—I don't know how much I'd want to play these games, and that's sad. The unfortunate part is this team has the feedback of its fanbase at its disposal, with X (Twitter) being at their fingertips, but fails to utilize it because of ego. Plus, they have 20+ years of video games to pick and choose what they want to add (I'm talking about No Mercy, the DOR Series, RAW Series, their own SD Series (SvR, 2K19, etc.), and potentially Fire Pro), and still can't make a fun wrestling game. I've asked for years where the best place is to have our feedback heard, and we're told to use Discord, but I might as well yell at the clouds for all that does for us. It's a very frustrating time to be a WWE Games fan. Plus, after watching a great podcast that had current up-and-comer WWE Games fans like JustBryan in it, even he said he's tired of 2K's BS excuses, which I loved to hear.
  12. ==The Good== 1) All the New Moves they've added in this last pack were great and welcomed like any new move is. 2) Overall, the models were well done. ==The BAD== 1) The New Ground Lifting Sitout Piledriver 5 that was added in the latest DLC Pack, is broken when you use the pin that's attached to it. They hover in the air, around 2-5 ft off the ground. 2) Overall, the general feeling is that this pack was the weakest of them all and at the very least we should have gotten an 80/90's era SNME arena with this pack. ==THE UGLY== 1) Bret Hart's Ring Post Figure Four is STILL Broken and has been for half a year. 2) The Lack of transparency as a whole when it comes to 2K vs the Fans but I suppose that's a conversation for another time. Overall, how do YOU feel about this pack and what could they have done different to make it feel unique/era specific?
  13. So overall lets here some feedback. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly? BTW I REALLY wish RB was still with us so he could at least get some errors/glitches/issues fixed.
  14. Yeah thats what I'm afraid of but its okay Status or Witty FTW !!!!
  15. Someone said it sounds like something out of Baywatch but yeah overall he looks decent. I do wish he had his sycho sid theme/tron added as an alt.
  16. Bro, that video was part of my latest post. LOL It's cool but with only 4-5 of us posting you would have thought you would have saw it. xD
  17. Sorry Bro but after all that effort and no response it kinda rubbed me the wrong way but it's all good. I hope I'm dead wrong and that we go out with a bang with this one. I can't recall if we got 55-75 new moves but I'd love to see it, this game really needs some new basic moves like Neckbreakers, Suplexes, Scoopslams, DDTs etc, so all we can do is pray Ricky Bobby sees this and tells his boys and girls back at 2k that this is the direction they need to head in.
  18. Well WTF!!! I'm glad I spent all that time posting all that info only for nobody to say crap all. That's nice !!!!
  19. Well, from what I can remember we're getting these new moves in a few more days. Sid's Chokeslam/1 Hand Pin, Sid's New Powerbomb, A New Thump for JYD, A New Headlock & Punch that makes your opponent fall into the kneeling position (Perfect for Hollywood Hogan IMO), A New Generic Suplex, A New Back Club, A New Elbow to the Top the Head AND I hope we have a couple surprises thrown in there for good measures. This pack isn't going out with a bang IMO so we can hope 2k surprises us. This Video Shows some of them: PLUS the New and "exciting" Roman Reigns Comeback exclusive to the island:
  20. Well, i'm sure we all saw the leaked moves video right? If not I can list what moves I can recall being in it, if you guys want me to ?
  21. Well, let's hope they hear how much we all hate Myfaction and stuff like that. Thanks Man !
  22. I didn't get it, what did they ask. Leak Mofo, LEAK!!!!
  23. Thank God with the 1 we're getting in the DLC Pack, we'll have 3 variations to choose for D'Lo. I can; wait to here D'lo theme BTW!!!
  24. That I believe! Plus, we all know what moves are going to be part of the upcoming DLC packs thanks to a few "good men" on X.
  25. Hey Guys, has anyone noticed any unlisted reanimated moves? Such as Bret Hart's Elbow Drop 6 that was reanimated last patch or the one before that.
