Checked out the hidden arenas. They're fun as a novelty...but, they aren't really useful for anything. You just clip through all the walls and furniture. - I enjoyed moving around in highlight reel and seeing the little hidden details. Otherwise, I already deleted them all. Just not for me...

Its a 5 minute joke, then its just a thing for the Fed people i think.

There’s no surprise at this point with the patches, the game is probably at its best state when first released. We knew from the last few years, that it releases, then 2k slowly break it more and more from there with every patch they release.

    Same old same old.
Now we reached the "how broken is this game and how little do they do to fix it" stage that lasts till they announce the new game, then its right back to "everyone is so hyped for it" phase.

This is the result of people gladly every year paying more than 100 bucks for this and downplaying criticism.

They're leaving money on the table too, I'll admit I'm a total simp and would pay the MyFaction premium for that Austin attire for example, if I could use it in the other modes or use the parts in CAW.

Which is weird, considering how otherwise really greedy they are.
For years they sold full price updates and overpriced DLC etc...but here they dont see the easy money they could make?

Not that i would support such a tactic of course, but it would be super easy money they could make with this.

Whatever it makes them i guarantee it would double that and more if they made the stuff in there usable for all modes, cause think about all the ones who don't play because the stuffs locked in there, they'd be rushing to it to buy packs to try and unlock the models for every other mode and for caws.

    Yup.
Make this stuff unlockable for all modes in MyFaction and you get more people to play it and a few bucks more because people would buy packs just to unlock them.

I guess, to me its just not very appealing to go and play as exclusive models in a mode where theres no entrances, and you gotta complete a laundry list of boring objectives and play a ton of multi man matches where you gotta do stuff like make 3 different wrestlers legs orange.

Its one of those things where they seem to not understand their core audience at all.
And i doubt many Casual Gamers are hanging onto the mode in 5-6 months.

But maybe im wrong, would definitly like to see the data on how much money the mode makes them.

One massive improvement for me, which I haven't seen anyone talk about, is that I haven't seen the slow German Suplex reversal that would happen all the time in 2K22.

Saw a few People mention that and its one of those Details that really make a difference.
Finally getting a Reversal that doesnt end in that ugly German Suplex, is good.

While we are at Suplex, are there new Vertical Suplex animations?
Im loving a good Vertical Suplex and would appreciate if there would be new animated ones.

Status and JoeMashups have both got in game models where they’ve added facial hair etc and they look absolutely brilliant - really is a game changer that find.

I dont think that 2K will let this stand, i can see them do all in their power to put a stop to this.
But from what i gather, not every Hair and Beard works, a few things seem to crash the game when you put on.
Would however really be a huge deal if you could do that...and maybe shows 2k/WWE that people wouldnt mess around in a negative way with such a thing as much as they seem to think.

  7. You know, i wouldnt even need neccessary new models etc via live updates for MyFaction...i would be fine with alternative attires.
Especially those that are in the Creation Suite.

Like Drew Mcintyre had in 2k22 i think 4 of his Trunks in the Creation suite.
    Give me that in MyFaction.
Give me the Alternative attires fitting to the cards.

Or if you add new models, why not putting the Parts in creation suite?
Like they have to model the stuff either way right? So why not so that its in the Creation Suite?

There is always a middle ground you could find...always.
And its not like we havent worked with outdated stuff before.
The Community is running on having updated Caws of wrestlers having outdated entrances and moves...that never bothered us too much.
So i doubt people would care much as long as they get a more up to date model of a certain wrestler.

For years a lot of people insisted Yuke's was the problem and needed to go. Then 2K/VC dropped the ball with 2K20 and suddenly the same people insisted Yuke's leaving was the problem. Now people want EA? I think they got things back on track with 2K22 and 2K23 looks like a big step in the right direction. Still not perfect by any means, but top to bottom 2K22 is the best WWE simulation in the history of the series. From what we've seen, 2K23 will probably take that title. There's no way 2K23 bombs. People have voted with their wallets. Most voted in favor of the current direction. I'm not surprised at all that 2K is sticking what works for the majority of the community.

Lets not ignore the fact that many vote with their Wallets because its a must for them.
There are many that do commisions to pay for their rent etc and rely on being part of the yearly cycle.
The Content Creator who are having an base because of the games, need the games for that too.
The Fed people etc see it as their "job" to get the game and all.

I dont doubt many had fun with 2k22, but let us not act like the Majority is super happy with the game.
The Majority of the community doesnt like the combo system, doesnt like that Myfaction hides models in the mode, doesnt like the creation suite restrictions etc.

It is not as simply as some might want to have it.

As for Developers of the series...it matters little who is making the games if they dont have the money or time.
VC can do more, you see that on many corners that they could make more out of this series.
But they dont have the time for it, they dont have enough people and money to do that.
They have a set budget, time and people that make these games...same as any other developer would have.
As long as 2K and the WWE dont put more money into the series to make, the results will not be there were we all would like to see them.

  9. On this i give her a pass on all accounts...despite her being a bit careless with it and all.
She doesnt have it because she is some gun crazy lunatic that puts the value of a gun higher than peoples.
She has it because some crazy lunatic obsessed with her, broke into her home.
Thats a valid reason to carry a gun around.

Because there's a noted pattern in these games of improvements coinciding with removal of freedom and features, that's all. I refuse to get my hopes up till I see the mode for myself.

Yup, its not the first time they add stuff while removing other stuff.
When they talked about all the new templates or what it was for the faces, people of course were worried that it would mean Face Textures would be gone.
Thankfully they said this would still be in, but people just worry something had to be removed because that is kind of the pattern with the series.

Either way, i dont think that they got rid of the problems the creation suite has for 10+ years and people every year ask them to remove.
The Logo fading etc will still be in and all...the usual annoying stuff that makes Creating caws unnecessary tedious.

  11. Well the horrible marketing continues.
I appreciate that they give the fans this picture to be busy with and all.
Everything slightly more creative is appreciated for sure.

However, this is still just bad marketing because many dont care for the DLC characters etc.
2k/VC still havent figured out who the audience is that sticks with the game till the next comes.

Its all about the first few months release and not about those that stick around later.
But then nobody ever said they really care about the fans or IP to begin with, so nothing new there.

That last part of the quote is something.
Because every day America shows why trusting its people with Guns is a bad idea.

Still, always sad to see how hard the Former Kane fell.
    Becoming your regular rightwing nutjob.

  13. They are frustrating the hell out of me.
Like everybody was waiting for a Release date announcement or so...and all we got is short gameplay that tells us nothing really new.

Dont get me wrong, i liked the footage.
Them recreating moments from the match and all, is a neat idea...but it was the wrong time for such a clip.
We need more, we need more facts and a release date...we need to see more than yet again cut together Gameplay.

On the other hand, i still love what im seeing.
Visual the game is so weird because Danielson looked really really good during the Entrance, but then the game looks so comicy at the same time ingame.
But im liking the style, im liking the animations and the gameplay.

Marketing seems like a Weak point for wrestling games in general.
I always thought its just 2k, but seems its not just 2k that is bad at marketing Wrestling games.

I thought they already signed a long term deal?
Wasnt there this photo of WWE people and 2k people in an office signing something?

Anyway, no surprise and not really bad news.
Bad news only if the partnership stays the same as it is right now.
Because this is not enough and shouldnt be enough.

More money needs to flow into the game, more people need to work on them etc.
We cant continue with these half assed full price updates...we need bigger steps forward.

    The Disrespect is insane.
Like she had dozens of great attires, you could have gone with a modern look when she came back and all.
Why are they this god damn lazy with her?

    3 hours ago, Mr.Dreadful said:

yeah the Lita model looks strange. maybe the hair style throws her look off. the same attire is yes, lazy, but i mean, creating alt attires can fix that.

Which then wastes already limited caw space...great solution instead of them simply putting a tiny bit more work into it.
It doesnt kill people to push back at 2k/VC a little bit.
    They can withstand some criticism.

  16. After watching a lot of Videos i can safely say that until they show a vastly upgraded Creation Suite...this is a 20 bucks buy at best.

Sure the WarGames match looks fun...but thats about it.
Like, this one matchtype will not change the game significant.
If 2k22 didnt blew you away, 2k22.5...i mean 2k23 wont either.

I had no fun playing 2k22 and if they didnt rework the Gameplay and seemingly the Creation Suite either...what should i look forward?
If creation suite still has the same annoying problems and is the one mode i care for, why should i pay 60 bucks for it?

It looks neat, the models are great...but thats about it.

New Pin System looks okay, but as i dont enjoy the gameplay in general, i will stick with the easy "hold the button" system because i dont have any drive to be competitive even against the AI.
    The New Animations are neat.
Taunting with weapons is nice, but the Physics dont look upgraded at all....and can i have a title as weapon?

All in all what i feared and expected.
Your yearly update where the focus outside the Usual modes, only was on the WarGames match.
It is sadly nothing that makes me want to buy on Release day or week.

I think 20-30 bucks is a price that is more fair to the consumer.

  17. First Entrance of course Cody...nice.
The Model looks fantastic, but that never was really a problem for the series.

Its the rest i have a problem with.
Outside of the Model, everything feels so lifeless and sterile.
The crowd sounds fake as hell, the arena has no character, it just lacks life.

I can deal with the lack of smoke and the weak pyro...i always remember that this is also coming out on PS4 and stuff, so they cant have too much because of last gen.

    Animations are fine to me.

Yeah a good entrance that has the usual problems i have with the series.
But the model is really really good, cant say that enough times.

I am getting really really tired of people acting like bringing back advanced entrances is something that was a long time coming and is generous for them to give back. It was one game that it was gone from and it shouldn't have been removed in the first place.

Im still worried about their updates to the creation suite, but im also cautiously optimistic on that front. Theres a LOT of it that needed work and updating, a lot of silly restrictions that needed to go; so im hoping for once that it isn't one step forward and two steps back.

I dont even know if there were any real problems involving Advanced Entrances before, so i do question the "why" of them taking it out.
Especially like i said before, when the 2k22 entrances are still Glitchy etc more than once.

I dont think sadly that there is done much in the creation suite outside of the Overall quality of the caws.
Which is fine, but there is so much stuff that needs to be fixed there for years.
So many restrictions and stuff for argueably the most important mode of the game.
Like alone that dumb logo fading that is still in, the stretching of logos etc.
The layer restrictions or general restrictions with clothing etc.
That we only get here and there a few of the wrestlers items instead a complete overhaul of Items.
LIke the Masks...its no fun to create luchadors because there is so much wrong with them, there is so little variety etc.

And that is just tackling create a superstar...the rest of the creation suite too is in dire need of updates and fixes.
I dont have much hope that they focused a lot of energy on the creation suite at all.

The sales of 2K22 isn't only because of the gameplay. There's people who bought it because of the graphics, because of the roster, because of MyGM, because it wasn't completely broken at launch, because it launched outside of Christmas, etc.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but there's a lot of things that factor into sales. Also I'm sure the MyFaction VC sales gave them a little boost too.

Also a bunch of those additions Brian Williams mentioned are things that help with Simulation unlike 2K22 where you couldn't actually do anything new per-se, they just changed the mechanics around.

There were many reasons why 2k22 sold as well as it did.
You had of course the graphics, the new gameplay, you had the two year development time, you had the whole "we listened to fans so hard" thing that hyped the game up.

There were many factors in this that made WWE2k22 kind of anomaly.
I doubt 2k23 can hit lightning twice here.

Of course the sales will be good too, but i doubt they will exceed.
For that in the end, 2k22 wasnt the huge shift that people hoped.
You can see that outside of Twitter easily, where the reveal was met with far less reaction than 2k22s.

We are pretty much where we are before 2k20 in terms of hype level and all.
Maybe in General a bit higher since 2k22 did a good job making gameplay changes that benefit casual players, and because the WWE has gained popularity.
But its pretty much where we was with Fans knowing they "only" get a full price update and casuals having a fun wrestling game.

Wargames could be a mess or it could be damn fun..

Not getting my hopes up "year 1" for the match though..

Well the matchtype is rather popular so it might get more attention than normally new matchtypes would get.

One thing i do like this year more, is that the time between Reveal and Release is rather short.
So we dont get months and months of the usual Marketing bullshit.
We dont get a handfull of empty screenshots over the course of long months and stuff.
It will more than likely be more active now thanks to that.
But its 2K so maybe i guess wrong here.

I can't believe how good the AEW game has been shaping up.  We're really getting Darby being able to use his skateboard on a suicide dive, and the thumbtacks bounce on the ring mat during moves. incredible

Im really surprised at how much this seems to become a game for Deathmatch etc fans.
The amount of Weapons in this Trailer, i think thats like 12-14 or what weapons...insane.

It looks like it will be a lot of fun to play.
