  1. Nah, you just like to play one game at a time until you beat it. Nothing wrong with that. Unless you did what I did in 2009 and bought Batman: Arkham Asylum along with Infamous. That was a dumb move on my part. Lol I've done similar shit. Think my problem is I never go back if I play another game in between.
  2. I don't know how some people can play multiple games at a time. I'm strictly one at a time. Like until I'm done Horizon Dawn, that's the only game I'll play. Guess I'm weird...
  3. Still Horizon Dawn. Haven't really done many of the main story shit yet. Huge ass game.
  4. Not nearly as annoying as the "follow Big Smoke on the train while riding a motorcycle" mission from San Andreas, IMHO... I have literally never had an issue with that mission. I literally never had an issue with the cattle herding mission in Red Dead 1, yet I didn't feel the need to comment on it. Lmao.
  5. Guess you understand now what I was talking about earlier? lol Picked up Horizon a few days ago and I'm liking it so far. The main story itself intrigues me a lot and the side quests haven't bored me yet. The combat is also satisfying, especially when you're playing on hard. So far, it's a very cool experience. Yup. Just because of things like the save points and ruins! I do like Dawn far better though. Fighting robotic dinos is just so damn cool.
  6. Yoooooo...that. And whatever GTA made you do flight school. And the Trevor drug mission where you have to fly. Flying anything in GTA has always been pure shit imo.
  7. TIL that the same people weren't behind Rise of the Tomb Raider and Horizon Dawn. I'm not big enough of a gamer to know who develops what (unless it's Rockstar games for example) BUT damn the games feel so similar. I prefer Horizon Dawn so far because the enemies are really cool and fun to fight. Less platforming.
  8. Alien: Isolation is a *censored*ing piece of trash. I got to Chapter 11 out of 17 and encountered a game-breaking glitch. I know I may sound like a moron who is just lost so I'm going to point out that I watched countless walkthroughs and there's a certain mission that didn't trigger in my playthrough. "Find an Alternative Route" for those who played it. Tried replaying the chapter four times and...same result. I can't get through a door because my mission never updates as it should.
  9. Oh it was straight-forward in relation to each other. Just that like you said, can't even remember their names. They were just fodder. I remember most of the characters from Aliens because they actually had character. But who knows...maybe I'll like it better on my second watch. That would be cool if they do build on the main character. And your idea works for me.
  10. I'm a huge Aliens fan. I own all of them and even enjoyed the spin-off. I just went in expecting a lot more than what it was. Think it kind of hurts that I couldn't tell the characters apart. David and Walter were memorable but everyone else? Who the *Censored* were they? Generic main girl was generic and I liked Danny McBride...well, just because he is Danny McBride. I guess my point is...no character leaves an impression. There's no Ripley. Or even a Shaw. Aside from that, I didn't mind it. Just a "Oh. That's it" type of reaction.
  11. Found it meh. I'll give it another go when I buy it on bluray.
  12. Oh my God, how is this game? I bought it back in Jan when it came out, but haven't given myself the chance to play it yet. So psyched to as well. Um...it's hard to explain. I like it and the fighting is very fun. There is a really cool mission early on where you go after a boss and the way it's set up is amazing. BUT it pulls a MGS with cutscenes and has you doing a lot of talky missions that get kind of boring imo. I'm glad I borrowed it (as opposed to buying it).
  13. I'm watching Alien: Convenant at a drive-in tomorrow, so naturally I'm playing the Alien game.
  14. Hoping this game can be crossed off my Amazon wish list once the 2017 holidays roll around... didn't happen last year, much to my disappointment. I borrowed it from a buddy. Glad I did. As fun as it is, I don't know if I'd buy it full price tbh.
  15. Yeah, I could understand that. Couldn't get through Alien last time I tried for that reason. Outlast has enough going on to still keep me entertained. And as someone who could probably hold my own in a fight, I would be running as well given the situations that the game presents. Unless I had a gun... Meh. I still really enjoyed Alien in the end, not because im a huge fan of the series just because it felt fresh the second time around giving it a shot months later. Thats just me though. I haven't picked up RE7 uet because I spent so much time trying to complete the demo for the damn coin and then when it was closer to launch the game looked like it had no need for it and pissed me off. *censored*ing loved Re7. And the coins do come in handy... ...but yeah, I'm planning to give Alien another go after Outlast. Unless a bud finishes up with Horizon Dawn before I get around to that.

  17. I wish I could fight back as well. But it's still ridiculously fun...
  18. Oh is it any good? I was just on my way to watch angryjoe review I played the first 30 minutes with a bud who was scared shitless. Dude was jumping out of his seat. But I decided I wanted to beat the original and Whistleblower again before continuing on my own because I couldn't remember them. Still on Whistleblower...
