Ugh, I remember that mission in The Ballad of Gay Tony where you had to blow up that yacht and the speedboats chasing you, I think?

It was a Yusuf Amir mission.

Not nearly as annoying as the "follow Big Smoke on the train while riding a motorcycle" mission from San Andreas, IMHO...

I have literally never had an issue with that mission.

I literally never had an issue with the cattle herding mission in Red Dead 1, yet I didn't feel the need to comment on it.

    Lmao.

  2. I'll gladly take that "herding of the cows" tutorial in Red Dead 1 over the "RC airplane flying mission" in San Andreas any day of the week, and twice on Saturday.

I swear... to this day, that particular mission in San Andreas would still make me want to punch a baby.

    Yoooooo...that.

And whatever GTA made you do flight school. And the Trevor drug mission where you have to fly. Flying anything in GTA has always been pure shit imo.

Man I'm shallow. Don't even want to play this because of the graphics

Well, at least you're honest. lol

    Lol of course.

...and I know what you're saying Gen. It's certainly not a case where they're striving for top of the line graphics and I should be okay with it. I'm just shallow and I know my buds are even shallower. Which means they won't be down to play.

I can only play wrestling games with people over. Not into customizing stuff or playing exhibition matches. I only came into this thread to find out what this game was because I've heard a lot about it over the years.

  4. A buddy called me bashing the shit out of this idea. But I disagree...

...I don't think it matters that they're comedy writers. It's strange but I'm not going to bitch about it. Apparently Jordan Peele's upcoming "Get Out" horror movie is amazing and he's from the same background.

Halloween is my favourite movie of all time and I absolutely hated Zombie's take on it. But I'm willing to give this a shot at least.

All I am saying is that the title still means something in real life. You think Eddie faked his tears when he won the big one in WWE? Or AA when they won the tag titles...

It's far from worthless. Winning a fake title is something they've dreamed of.

When Eddie beat Brock? I don't think he cried. If I remember correctly, he was actually laughing. Of course that made more sense for his character, who had just lied, cheated, and stolen his way to the title. God, I miss Eddie Guerrero. His stuff was never too cliche.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. He did cry when he got in the ring to celebrate with Benoit at the end of WMXX. The point is that he wasn't crying because they won some pretend wrestling belts. They cried because the two of them had traveled the world together for years honing their skills, and at that point the reality was setting in that they made it to the highest level in the business (at that time, there were no John Cenas and Brock was on his way out). Lets say everything was the same, but there were no titles involved. You think it wouldn't have been emotional?

He cried. Dude I can't believe you're arguing this. It's an honour for any wrestler to be considered good enough to be the world champion of a company.

A lot of wrestlers mention in real interviews how winning it was their dream as a kid. Holding that title actually means something to somebody in this profession.

Being booked to win "fake wrestling belts" actually means something. Let's not act like winning a title is worthless Crowley. Fake or not, most wrestlers dream of winning the big one.

It's not worthless in kayfabe. In real life it's a good indicator that your career is going well, but it still doesn't mean a whole lot. For example, I don't think that Great Khali necessarily had a better career than Jamie Noble just because he was WHC once while most of Noble's matches were in the undercard. Noble was more talented and more experienced. If I was a promoter, Jamie Noble's resume would look more impressive to me.

Besides, Jamie Noble was ROH World Champion, which brings me to my next point; who decides what "the big one" is? Most wrestlers dream of winning the WWE championship because there's a good chance that means they've reached the top level and are making more money. It doesn't matter what the title is called, who held it, or what it looks like. And the money/success isn't even a guarantee. Because wrestling is totally scripted and wacky, their booking philosophies could change and they might decide to put the strap on a guy who gets paid peanuts while someone in a random midcard match is making millions. Titles don't always mean success. John Cena gets paid a lot more than Kevin Owens. Kevin Owens wouldn't hesitate to throw that ugly belt right in the trash if it meant he could be on The Rock's level.

You can't really compare the value of fake wrestling belts. The WWE Universal Championship is not more coveted than the Inter Species Championship. WWE may not even exist in ISW's fictional universe. Being a top player in WWE obviously means you're more successful, but simply being a champion there doesn't.

  7. People really do forget that Mizs Mania main event was widely regarded as one of the worst main events ever. Not exactly something a wrestler should really be proud of imo and thats not just because its Miz id say that about anyone.

But i digress dont wanna derail this.

Still counts buddy...but yeah it was awful. Cena VS Miz was a regular RAW match.

His video package was awesome though.

Oh my god man it was a joke

Lol oh I know man. I wasn't hounding on you. Just asked originally because you'd be surprised at how many people actually think that. I work at GNC and have had so many people ask if some of the sups have steroids in them!

Ohhh okay I got you. Makes sense from your view.

Haha yeah. Just yesterday, I had a customer come in and ask for BCAA's (Branched Chain Amino Acids) without Amino Acids in them. Yep. He looked offended when I started laughing at him.

I can totally see Lucha Underground hiring Ryback. The craziest thing is that I can also see him being a sick addition to the roster. They did wonders with Zeke and Ryback is better than Zeke in the ring.

He'll definitely have some sort of story with Cage.

  10.

If TNA are smart they will grab him and utilize the hell out of him straight away.

Nah, I can see them doing what WCW did with Bret.

Crowley's the same dude who doesn't think a jobber has the right to want to accomplish more. I don't think anyone should be taking what he says seriously.

Dunno how long you've been here but its sad because he used to actually post some real intelligent and accurate shit. I'm convinced his account has been hacked.

Eh, at least he can defend his views well enough.

No. He can formulate proper sentences and write long paragraphs but it doesn't hide the stupidity.

  11.

    How would he fail?

Because M3J has zero common sense

I actually agree with M3J on this one...which is something I never thought I'd say.

Having Sandow's first booking after his release be the same company that booked Swoggle...not a good sign of things to come. And I checked out their full roster the other day...because they're going to be performing at a taco festival in NJ that I want to go to...and man...their roster is shit. Only dude I even recognized was Hawkins under his real name, and Dan Maff. Everyone else has these really over the top gimmicks and most of them look out of shape and entirely underwhelming. Granted, the show that Sandow and Swoggle are booked for is a joint show with GFW. But still...I can't help but feel entirely underwhelmed by this guy that so many claim has all the potential to be a "huge star" signing with the first smalltime indy fed that throws something on his plate. I think everyone was expecting one of the bigger companies to announce that they swept him up immediately. I certainly was never expecting that...because I still think he's nothing special. But still, I think that's what other people were expecting.

No offence dude but I'm not surprised you agree...

When you don't like a wrestler, you do the same thing M3J does. Miz, Ryder, Ziggler and more. I think it would be near impossible for you to change your mind on any of them.

Barrett at least was a i-c champion. But his shoulder injuries always nagged him. Sandow was a good worker for whatever WWE had for him. Those are two major stars lost with Sandow being wasted by creative.

I'll say again, Sandow was ideal for the Social Outcasts. Especially given his history with Axel. But no, they tried to push Slater again.

    Slater's good too though.
