If I had 3 wishes for WWE2K24, they’d be: 1. New Moves Pack 2. Meiko Satomura 3. new IYO SKY model Realistically this game’s about to come out so I’ll hold off on any thinkpieces until I see what the new game has to offer. If 2K23 was essentially 2K22 with War Games, I’m going in expecting 2K24 to be 2K23 with one big, new feature to be announced. I don’t consider the return of old features like Story Designer and/or Special Guest Referee or even the New Moves Pack to be noteworthy enough to make casual and longtime WWE Games fans jump out of their seats, so they’ve gotta be cooking up something big and something that’s actually new for the series. I think Spotify or YouTube integration would be a big deal. Like, imagine console users being able to freely use actual theme music, updated theme music and updated trons and such, or classic trons that Legends actually had….custom ones…you name it. They’re all over YouTube not going to much use. People like Zeokage are stuck in this follower’s mentality of “Nobody has done it yet so neither can we” when in no genre of game is specific “custom music” so vital to the overall experience and immersion than of a pro wrestling game. We SHOULD be the pioneer of such a feature instead of waiting for someone to do it first…for mommy and daddy to hold our hand before we can cross the street. Just my two cents on the matter. I’m never gonna stop pushing for it.

I mean…she’s like 30 which is still pretty young. She needs to learn better English so she can understand the spots being called and what not. She’ll learn to work safer. She’ll get to spend some time living in sunny Orlando instead of instantly being put on the grind that is the WWE road schedule. I can almost guarantee she’ll get ace treatment upon her arrival. There’s a lot of pluses to her going to NXT. IYO did it, Kairi did it, Asuka did it, and look at them now. Current state of NXT needs a Giulia-type character to shake everything up. Now if only they could get Meiko Satomura for like a month, just to finally scan her for 2K, I’d be an ultra happy camper. I live in Tampa these days so there’s also a chance I see Giulia at an NXT house show or 2.. so I dig it. Can’t wait to hear Booker T call one of her matches.

Good points all around. They should absolutely allow one to pick and choose new and older gameplay settings/mechanics to our liking so that we can get the most out of our own gaming experience. I love the combo system but do see how it isn’t for everyone, both in-game superstars and consumers that play these games. I have my own ideas on how to differentiate between a striker, brawler, technician, showboat, luchador, strongman, giant, etc, but I trust these conversations have been had within the ever-secretive 2K/VC offices. I can leave that conversation for another day and see what they do, if anything new and exciting, for ‘24. CAW mode gets a lot of love and I still feel Iike it isn’t enough. Remember when they patched in new female hairstyles? Like why can’t they patch in new CAW parts constantly along with their MyFaction updates and such? I really want fuzzy socks this year but we shall see. I would rather have CC be like the Wild West right now rather than have them constantly taking down the modded caws we actually need like shorter height caws and double-hair caws and what have you. I don’t run into much porn but it is on there and I imagine whoever is doing that has to be very young to think it’s amusing. But yeah, CAW-wise, I want a bunch of new female hairstyles. I can work with the rest, assuming it’s the same as it’s been, with nothing removed. We wouldn’t need a double hair glitch if 2K simply allowed to use 2 hairstyles as we please on any given CAW. We should be able to make CAWs as short as 4’10” so, again, we wouldn’t need Status to upload a model for that to CC. MyFaction it is what it is…it’s the John Cena/babyface Roman Reigns of game modes. I don’t play it, have no interest in it and never will, so that’s about all I can say about it. I want them to make as much money as possible by any means necessary as long as we the consumers are enjoying ourselves, and whatever few people playing MyFactiom seem to really enjoy it, so… what are ya gonna do? I don’t notice a lot of the time when a move has been removed, but we usually have decent alternatives. Why they would remove a perfectly good Moonstomp or Regal Plex is beyond me but they have their reasons. Want as we may, we aren’t the ones behind the scenes working on this thing. I don’t mind Showcase mode because I have a bad memory about what all I’ve seen on TV and it’s cool to jog my memory a bit. Sit out axe guillotine driver? You mean like the Beach Break? I requested the kneeling version way back in May so hopefully we get one of those.

Giulia disbanded her Stardom faction Donna Del Mondo yesterday. She’s still being advertised for Stardom’s USA show in Philly the Thursday before ‘Mania, so, not sure about the timing of her arrival, but everyone seems sure she’s WWE-bound. She deserves to be seen on that stage and make that money. WWE 2K25 is gonna be awesome!

Thread’s quiet. Floor’s yours. You can just say here what you would’ve said in the survey… I, for one, will listen.. Myself, I couldn’t think of anything positive or negative to say on the spot because it’s been months since I’ve really played the game. But that’s just it; it’s been months since I’ve played the game. What can they do to keep me playing and creating all year long like I did 2K22? I have things I love about the games and a couple things I dislike but nothing really worth wasting their time over in a short survey. If they really wanted my opinion, I’ve got enough online presence to not be a hard guy to find and DM directly, be it here, on Twitter or Discord. I’ll hold off on further judgement on what should or shouldn’t be in the game going forward until 2K24,which already comes out in over 2 months time anyway. I really hope they listened to even a little of my suggestions going into this year.

I had trouble finding the list of mocappers for 2K23. I ran through the credits like 5 times and didn’t see them so I gave up. Always cool to know who captured what and who all was on the squad. edit- Found a list! Ninja Mack was on the team?? Imagine if we had gotten a new moves pack..

I thought we were gonna get the likes of Rock, Cena, Brock, Sasha, MJF, all on Day 1 to really make a statement. I guess we aren’t in the statement-making business anymore. I’m well aware MJF’s removal from the AEW online roster might be in storyline. I don’t follow the product anymore so I don’t know.

imo Triple H took control of WWE after his sense of what’s cool and hip in wrestling culture passed him by. He’s still better than the alternative, being Vince McMahon and for some reason Tony Khan, but you’re gonna get a lot of douchebag and dick and shit jokes still because that’s their idea of the cheapest way to get a laugh. I’m not gonna put him over just because he made IYO SKY a longtime champion. I didn’t care for much of the content but it’s cool that Rock stopped by. Nice ending there. Cody beware.

You can tell by how weak the booking of this show has been so far that there really is no Sasha tonight. Couldn’t even get Punk to show up for Day 1..

Nia really needed that match and that win as a reset on the whole “botch machine” and “unsafe” rumors. Becky lost nothing by not going over. Did Kofi catch Vinci on the chin and knock him out briefly? The back of Vinci’s head bounced off the mat upon collision and to say that doesn’t feel great is an understatement..

Ali-wise, isn’t just the mobile game. They released a WWE action figure of him as well. I’m even pretty sure they released a 2nd action figure of him commemorating the match with Inoki, with Inoki famously laying on his back, which is why I believe he could also be DLC if there’s a pack Muta and Kairi will be in together. All speculation though. I don’t think I’m far off the mark, but if the game comes out and we get a bunch of NXT names again as DLC, then hey, go figure. If we don’t get Punk, people are gonna be livid. We don’t really need Stallone but the build-up and the commercials would be cool and turn heads. Is he even in the Hall of Fame yet? He should be if Arnold is in there. Philly would be a cool place for that to happen.

What if a working relationship between WWE and Stardom is made official? Could we get some of their wrestlers appearing in 2K25 by any chance? That’s like everything I’ve been working towards since about 2016. Granted WWE already has the best one in Io Shirai and then Kairi Sane. Might even get Giulia too before the new year is done. What if there were an all-women’s pack in 2K24 to set up for a Stardom pack in 2K25 where we could get the likes of Mayu Iwatani, Tam Nakano, AZM, Utami Hayashishita and Maika? I’m hype just thinking about it.

I’ll never understand the appeal of Kiana James. I’m sure she’s a nice lady and I hope she succeeds within the WWE system because there’s so much money to be made, but I dunno…looks-wise, work-wise, gimmick-wise…just doesn’t do it for me.

I could do a whole deep dive on why I did the specific DLC roadmap I did the third time around, but at this point I’d rather just lay in wait with you all and see how it plays out. I’m seemingly doubling down on my lineup but it all starts with Punk and Stallone. What if Stallone has nothing to do with Philly Wrestlemania? My lineup would instantly come crumbling down. Like I said before, it would be very weird if WWE acquired some sort of license to use Stallone and Muhammad Ali’s likenesses and only used them for a crappy little mobile game like Champions. lol. I want the ECW Special Edition, but Bray Wyatt trumps ECW as it is more fresh in the mind and hearts of all who watch WWE today. And yet, Bray isn’t a big enough name to get the official game cover or the showcase either imo, which is why i see him being the Special Edition preorder bonus. As for the all-women’s pack, the fact that it hasn’t been done and seems unlikely is all the more reason to shatter that precedent and throw that community a bone. Lord knows the male to female ratio isn’t a balanced one anyway..

Punk could always just hand 2K the trunks and kick pads that didn’t fit so they could use them for his attire, but people would complain that he technically never wore that gear unless he debuts it at the Rumble. I would just be happy about his inclusion regardless of what he’s wearing. He’s a needle-mover. A roster with him in it is gonna sell like hot cakes, especially if he’s the preorder.
