Micro transactions aside I want to talk gameplay if EA ever made a WWE game. I loved UFC 4’s gameplay. I love their idea of how submissions and chain submissions/advanced submissions work. That could fit extremely well in a WWE game. Also the way the strikes hit and feel could flow well in an EA made wrestling game. The way the presentation looks, the lighting. Of course UFC and WWE aren’t produced or visually presented the same on tv or video games but the lightning and models would be outstanding. Not to say 2K’s models and graphics aren’t amazing? They’re amazing for sure. Top notch for the most part. But I feel unpopular as it may be, the good would outweigh the bad if EA took over. It’s never happening. So this doesn’t even matter but man, I genuinely would want to see what they could do within 2 games. I can go on. I’ve been thinking about it for almost a decade. An EA produced and made WWE game. *Censored*. Now of course as you mentioned micro transactions a would be present for sure. I’m not sure to the extent though. I’m sure there would be other minor negatives. Gameplay wise however, that doesn’t scare me in the slightest. Many people beg for only simulation in the 2K series and EA does simulation better in their game than 2K has ever imo. I stand on that. Again, it’s never happening. Just a dream or whatever I guess.

Kody, name some things you want changed in the series. I want to know. I always love hearing what different people want from the series.

MyFaction is ass. I won’t even attempt to defend that mode. I have zero interest in it, so I agree with you there. MyRise, is something that many creators and fans play so it’s not going anywhere. I do want promos and more added in to make it a bit more robust so to speak. Showcase, yeah, never been a fan. Play it once and never return. Even with the spin this year, playing it through and never touching it again. I miss Road to Wrestlemania personally. I feel that should take over Showcase Mode. Or maybe instead of even focusing on Showcase Mode just put those resources and time into bringing back create a story. The combos, I personally enjoyed in 2K22 so I can’t comment there. The arcade like style and tweaks are up my alley. I do also like simulation but with simulation the speed seems to have to take a backseat or they just haven’t found the sweet spot. All in all, you’re never going to please everyone. I mean I’m still annoyed we don’t have returning match types that we’ve wanted for years back. War Games is nice and all but ehh. 2K have enough time at this point to impress the fans or not impress the fans. 2K22 was a huge step up from 2K20 but I meant anything would’ve been a huge step up. 2K19 still holds up well. But if many of you groundbreaking changes you need to really blame it on last gen ports imo. They need to be dropped and buried for me to fully see what potential 2K can reach.

I mean we could petition for EA. I’ve wanted that for some time.

Can I also say Lita’s new updated model is so good. I’ll be using her a lot more now. There’s a lot of little things that should be praised that make the grand scheme bigger.

I’ve been extremely supportive of 2K since 2K22 but this is annoying as hell. I’m not a programmer and don’t make video games and won’t pretend to know if it’s an easy or possible fix. I would love them to at least address why it’s still an issue and if they’re looking into fixing it on camera or something.

The A.I. Logic alone just secured my last minute pre-order. To this day I play Fire Pro for the sheer excitement it adds. I have so many matches and setups I NOW can make happen. I’m impressed with that alone. Let’s go. It’ll also freshen up the gameplay and replay ability is extended so much from that alone. There’s also a loyalty slider for factions within certain match types where they won’t attack each other? Yeah. Let’s *censored*ing go.

You’re right. Guess that’s the way it goes after all. And there are worse contenders than Cody. The story does make sense and if anyone had to dethrone Roman I would want it to be Cody. Hell, at least it wasn’t Theory. Lol

The minute he wins those titles the crowd is shifting like they always do. I’m not denying this sounds plausible. I’m really not. But I just feel why does Cody have to beat him at Mania for the sake of a feel good story. Roman’s reign has just been so comfortable. We used to beg for king title reigns with substance and we got it and we’ve had it for 900 plus days. I don’t want it to end! But on the other side, Cody is clearly over and a draw despite what I said. I just don’t know if I can personally believe Cody is the one to dethrone Roman. Which is a personal problem for sure but I can’t be the only one that feels that way. As far as debuting a new member, could be interesting. And then there’s the matter of The Usos. So basically every Bloodline member won’t be holding gold after Mania? It just feels like a huge reset.

Which translates to typical booking. 1000 days sounds a lot better than almost 1000 days. Whatever. We’ll see at Mania.

Not ashamed to say I was wrong. Maybe I haven’t been close to attention to Cody’s pops or reactions. From what I witnessed he is indeed a draw. That being said, Roman cooked and fried his ass ultimately. Cody was good but Roman just ate him alive. I’m hyped for the match now. Roman better retain. Cody can win the belts from someone else or later down the year or whatever.
