  1. It’s pretty self-evident and it seems like most people get that. But the ones who don’t get it are the ones who tend to have the worst takes on wrestling anyway, so their opinion isn’t worth much.

    It’s a lose-lose situation; there’s nothing to be gained.

I mean...I fail to see what even is the point you're making there. WWE is supposed to have a 30 day clause for titles, and Rollins was out for over 30 days...so my point is entirely valid and I don't "take it back" or anything. He should have been stripped of the belt, IMO.

You played this whole “what if” game about shit that hadn’t occurred and then bitched about it, which isn’t too dissimilar to this current discussion.

Because the Bucks are obnoxious shits, and it doesn't matter if they're "right" or not. Them being objectively "right", and being proven so by video absolutely works in favor of them being heels. Nobody likes someone who always has to be "right". You're proving it by the very virtue that we're having this disagreement.

"We were justified in firing your favorite wrestler" is about as heel as heel shit can get.

That is such a stretch. I buy that sort of behavior with Drew’s current heel gimmick, for example, but this is being done for a audience who are anti-Punk and them showing off something that is purported to help their and AEW’s cause would make them look like the babyfaces.

I have zero memory of this...but, feel free to enlighten me.

Also...I don't think Rollins is a great champion at all.

Major props to Drew for making that feud interesting in any degree. Does he need to be champion heading into Mania? Absolutely not. I don't think he does anything in the feud that someone else couldn't have done. So, yeah...all Drew. Like, 110%. -And since this is the AEW section and not the WrestleMania section...that's all I've got to say about that. (Even though I fail to see how we made this jump at all).

    Here you go:

So it starts there and then it continues onto the next page where you say this:

I’m really not interested to further this dispute. I was just pointing out that we all bitch about shit that hasn’t happened yet. Neither you or I are exempted from that.

People...it's not a waste of television time. It will literally be used to make the Bucks bigger heels, and probably set up a return for Jack Perry, who has a match in Chicago with NJPW on the 12th (two days after Dynamite). It is going to be an angle on tv, like any other...with a direction and a vision, and a "point". It isn't just like "here's the video...okay, that's over". Obviously, they're booking around it. Why would anyone assume anything else? That's stupid.

There's a *censored*ing reason why it's presented by the Bucks and not Tony Khan. It would be awful if it was "Tony Khan wishes to show the video without commentary". Which is not what it is...and everyone knows that's not what it is...so why are we insisting on treating it that way? Because it's convenient for a narrative? Give it a rest.

Sharing a video that is meant to vindicate them (AEW/Elite crowd) makes them heels? I don’t understand that. Isn’t the premise to show that bad man Punk’s account of the incident is wrong?

Save it for the actual segment.

Quit being so ready to bitch about AEW that you complain about things that haven't even happened yet.

You literally asked me why I think it’s pathetic and then I told you why I think it’s pathetic. lol I still have my doubts that this is happening anyway but if it does, it’s pathetic for the reasons I mentioned.

Heh… Complain about things that haven’t happened? Weren’t you the one who threw a fit about WWE sticking with Rollins as their champion heading into WM and that it was going to be “sloppy and bad.”

    Hmm. How’d that turn out?

  7. Then post it on Twitter! Revolving yet another TV segment on man who left your company many months ago is pathetic. They had their opportunity to make something out of this Punk/Elite bullshit and they passed it up. That’s their fault. Now, they're trying to pop a rating off a man who isn’t there anymore after everyone but the minuscule number of AEW devotees have moved on. By catering to this niche fan, Tony continues to prove Punk’s point.

  8. It wouldn’t surprise me if this is how they’ll use Jade for a while. Since she didn’t get the proper wrestling training from her previous employer, this is how you protect her. Now, if she continues to be used like this years in the future… then that’s a bit concerning. But at the same time they’ve made stars out of those who were limited in the ring many times before, so I suppose it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. lol

  9. Alvarez and SRS say it isn’t a bait and switch. And if that ends up being true, then wow is this pathetic. They’re so desperate for buzz (because WWE is increasingly making them more and more irrelevant) that they’re resorting to tactics Russo wished he dreamed of.

Aside from the fact the guy is no longer there and that there is no feud to be had on your programming (which these goofs chose to pass up when he was still actually there), doesn’t this make Edge look like a total chump? Wasn’t the message of his promo about ignoring the haters and enjoying pro wrestling? Where that go?
