  1. here's one that def isn't fake I am surely going to mute all but 2 of those songs.
  2. Fair enough. Welcome to next-gen and can't wait to see your roster for 2K24. And btw, if you need help with movesets, I'm down to do it, if you need it.
  3. once we get to under 14 days, that is when the damn bursts and all the info starts coming out. I've said it a million times, and it bears repeating: This is how 2K Games markets all their games. It's short term bursts of info within 30 days of release.
  4. agreed, the small details shine big here. namely the almost uncanny forearm hair that looks as close to real as can be.
  5. I think the idea of Lauper as a playable character would have really raised a lot of eyebrows. Captain Lou (RIP) would be nice to see a video game, though IDK if his estate would license him for it. Moolah though? Nope. Let's just say even before the current controversy, Moolah wouldn't be considered for the game or anything involving WWE in passing. She wasn't a morally outstanding person, if you catch my drift. And since we're on the topic of legendary women from years ago, I'll just say it right here, right now: Jumping Bomb Angels in a video game would be amazing. Dunno if they would be approachable for a likeness deal but they were legendary in Japan and in the WWF.
  6. Chyna vs Ivory would've been terrible from a gameplay perspective. The objectives for that match would have been: -Damage Ivory -Execute your finisher (Press Triangle/Y Button) -cutscene- End of Match Not much you can really do with Chyna's wrestlemania involvement outside of her being an NPC in cutscenes. And the only other match she was in was vs men at 2000....which would never fly because of 2K and WWE having a pretty cut and dry "no intergender violence" policy. Everyone's already said what I was going to say about those matches, though it would've been nice if maybe Jazz and Victoria got back in those games somehow...maybe they're DLC.... But for real, I love how people are taking Bryan's words out of context. The full quote is about the Showcase mode having 3 matches this year vs 30 Years of Wrestlemania having....ZERO women's matches 10 years ago. People just want to read what they want to read and not what's there.
  7. My issues stem from the fact a lot of that community is loud and wrong about their demands. Representation is great. But let's be realistic here, the only matches that are realistically going to be in that game with the women's involvement were going to be limited to anything from the past decade....and then it gets even thinner when you see who isn't on the roster/who isn't under contract when the mode was being developed. Maybe in a better world Flair vs Asuka would have made it. At best, that match. But Sable vs Tori? Trish vs Christie Hemme? Trish vs Mickie James? (who doesn't even have a relationship with WWE) Any/all of the Playboy covergirl matches vs the women champions? I don't get it.
  8. Right...such classics as Ivory vs Chyna, all 3 minutes of it Trish vs Lita vs Jazz Trish vs Victoria vs Jazz Trish vs Christie Hemme...another "classic" Sigh. Diva fans, please join us in reality. You'll be glad you did.
  9. A happy medium. They can't out and out say brock is in the game due to the company edict, but they didn't take him out of the game either.
  10. X-Seven looks outstanding! Please tell me they got Glass Shatters for Stone Cold.
  11. well this is where we might get a lot more answers about Showcase and the roster than we anticipated...or just a lot of smoke and mirrors (woahhh) and just what they want us to see at the moment.
  12. i too would like to see the DLC roadmap. Thankfully I feel that's coming in the next week or so. Just give me a good roster of familiar faces, new characters with new moves, and some big time legends that haven't been in the series yet.
  13. If 2k20's team was ambitious...then i wonder if they were ambitious to fail miserably. A DLC rollout that was all reskins of on roster characters and fantasy crap? Bad idea there guys.
  14. People are misremembering 2K20, the reason why 2k20 went to hell so fast was because of Yukes leaving/being relieved of duty (depends on who you ask) and Visual Concepts having to pick up the slack with no time, an unfeasible release date schedule, and of course the bad code. But I believe the Fiend being DLC and out the gate so soon from debut was because it was a team effort between Bray, 2K and WWE. 2K probably had the inside track on the entrance and the motions and the trons before debut because they were told in advance, shown the designs, etc. A lot easier to get things done when you got a few tips in advance.
  15. He's probably their linchpin for the Season Pass. I anticipate he'll be announced as DLC week before launch to convince everyone who hasn't bought the deluxe edition to buy it.
  16. all time HOF lie told by THQ. what did they do for an encore? bankruptcy.
  17. ^This. THQ was legendary for lying through their teeth. Need I remind you of how they intentionally lied about Paul Heyman having a hand in WWE 13's Universe Mode? They did. Among other things. 2K's marketing is more representative of 2K as a company: they save marketing for the final leg of the game's release and bombard you to buy the game as the release date draws near. They do it for all their brands. It's annoying but effective.
  18. I wouldn't equate a short announce/hype window with a glitch ridden launch. We've been here with these games, they always have a bug or two at launch that gets smoothed out, so I don't expect a fundamentally broken game like 2K20, which was a culmination of Yukes leaving, code that had been in the game since 2000, and an overwhelmed staff that had no shot of getting it done in time to meet an annual release date. This game is, IIRC, built off the foundation of 2K22 (VC would always use the game from a prior year as a base and alternate between them to keep up with annualization launches) so there's not much that they could do to totally botch it up.
  19. ehh....here's the issue. i think, at best, they might have to raise the logo limit to 2000. but when you're still working with last-gen tech, and last-gen tech file size systems, might not be feasible. they do need to cut last-gen off from new features. just put the series in statis and focus it all on current gen. with that you might be able to increase the file size limit to suit SSD drives and double it.
  20. I looked it up and for 2K19 the people who were doing mocap for the women were: Mia Yim Chelsea Green Tessa Blanchard Jessika Havoc Santana Garrett Rachael Ellering So based off that, I think it's safe to say it probably was Santana or Mia or Tessa who mocapped it.
  21. That was the point of last year. Cena losing all those matches. To prove that Cena could come back year after year and never give up.
