The audio was terrible this whole episode

The Edge promo kinda proved Punks point about AEW not being in the business to make money. I have no problem with what Edge said but how do you not even mention your next PPV match even once. It’s pro wrestling 101 that every promo should be selling the next match and with AEW still having traditional PPV, when your stars ignore their upcoming match, what makes a fan want to spend money on that match.
-
Still crazy to me that we live in a world where CM Punk is back in WWE but there isn’t a McMahon.
-
I see Roman getting to Rock first. Maybe either at Mania or right after. I think Roman will blame Rock for losing the title or get paranoid or figure out that Rock was playing him. Once Roman beats down Rock, all Rock has to do is cut one of his promos against The Bloodline and he will be an instant face again.
-
I agree. Could definitely be a situation where Brock his laughing off his friend/boss, not thinking he is being serious.
-
It kept Darby out of the match for awhile until making the save just when it looked like Sting had nothing left. Don’t get me wrong, it was a super gnarly spot but it did make sense in the story of the match.

Too bad a certain Boss only cares about the Mone
-
Slow introduction and then give him something after Mania. They did the same thing for Aleister Black and Ricochet.

A lot of people think Rock will turn on Reigns as like some big plan Cody had. What if Reigns takes the first shot at Rock for feeling like Rock has overshadowed him.
-
Everything was so well done that I truly think this was the plan from the start. And if it wasn’t then it is one of the most seamless pivots of all time.
-
I am just speculating that Cody saying he is moving the goal post means he is moving his title shot up to EC. He enlisted the Rock just to beat Roman down more after hopefully already beating him for the title. I could be 100% wrong but I do feel like Cody is still in the mix with Roman still and Seth is just a red herring. Also I don’t see them unifying the title again. I think with Raw’s move to Netflix there will even more of an emphasis on the brand split. Why go through all this trouble to establish GMs and contract signings again just to unify the titles and dissolve the split.
-
Why do people think it set in stone that Cody will face Seth. Could just be a red herring. I think Cody gets screwed again at EC and then Roman will main event both nights of Mania. Now I think Reigns needs to beat Rock night one and then Cody wins night 2. There you covered the loss of the Punk spot, Seth faces someone else, you get Rock/Reigns, Cody still honors the Rumble victory, and Cody finishes the story. All Cody said was he moved the goal post, that could just mean he moved it up, he never confirmed going after Seth.

Only other 2 I could possibly think of are Sting and Dustin Runnels
-
I think Bruce has been given less responsibility. I’ve notice he has been able to record more of his podcast lately and doesn’t miss a week as much.
-
Vic Joseph gets annoying sometimes with his “OOOH” on big moves
-
I think Triple H has said there wouldn’t be a call up unless there is an actual plan on the main roster
-
Unless part of Cole’s deal with Joe was that he gets the first shot after Joe wins. It’s all about the follow up but it always had to be Cole. I just hope we get a version of NXT Adam Cole.
-
Because he felt everybody in the LWO turned their backs on him so he wanted to surround himself with guys that see things the way he does. Kinda wish he was on his own but doesn’t seem likely to ever happen.
-
Get one more Hardy’s/E&C in at AEW and then let the Hardy’s do a proper retirement run and HOF induction in WWE.
-
I’m selfishly waiting for Keith Lee and Black to be free again so they can return to WWE. I feel like they both, especially Lee would thrive in Triple H’s vision.
-
I think the college recruiting program has really paid off.
-
Jade is who they wish Bianca Belair would be. Jade will be over with the crowd, heel or face. Bianca is always going to have peaks and valleys. She just isn’t strong enough on the mic and most of the time feels forced.
-
The way WWE uses NXT now and how it actually matters what someone does in NXT is such a nice breath of fresh air. I know it should come to no surprise since Triple H and HBK basically share the same brain. This era of NXT where it is actually used as like a AAA baseball team might lowkey be the best era and might actually show bigger return on investments than any other era.

The MITB gimmick is stale to me. Just have the winner get a title match at Summerslam. Then the MITB match/PPV will mean as much as the Rumble
-
The best part about Gunther is he doesn’t have one finisher. It always feels like a real fight with him where he can end a match with anything.
