April Divine
This morning April was shocked to learn that the Dangerous Alliance was no more. In fact she was the only surviving member left on the roster. That really sucked because obviously she had burned a few bridges over the last week, mostly with the Aussie fans, essentially killing off her cool hometown hero vibe. Plus there was the whole beef with that loser Barrett, along with Davey Joe and Colt Cabana. Now she felt like she was being left to take the rap all on her Pat Malone. That was rhyming slang, which April hated but was so frequently used in the Bessell household she can't help it. How on earth does something like this even happen without anyone bothering to call and ask her opinion first. This has to be some kind of mistake. April double checks the roster on the DUW website and there was still no trace of any Paul Heyman guys anywhere. Preposterous, they couldn't all just disappear overnight. It still wasn't sinking in yet. But she got a chance to look at the card for Thunder, not good news there either. Unfortunately she would be teaming with non Paul Heyman guy Jon Davis and Arika Suzuki to take on Barrett and two thirds of the Powerpuff Girls. This was a disaster since she couldn't fully rely on Davis because he was still very much unknown to her. And she couldn't trust Arika well enough to turn her back for a second, lest she be consumed by her jealously and lash out on the one and only DUW Women's Champion with some kind of cheap shot. April wouldn't put it past her. The very first thing she ever saw from this women was a sneak attack, she's proven herself to be pretty much useless at everything else since. However, she was going to stress out about all this later. One thing at a time. Right now April was going to be making some calls, hopefully getting hold of Heyman so he can help her understand what the hell was going on, and why it appeared like she was being abandoned.

Daniel Bessell
Well sorry if Jack Russell didn't like Daniel's name. No, wait a second, tough shit. The Velvet Sledgehammer didn't like Jack's name either, or his stupid gimmick or his dumb face. Or the way he always smells like he just stepped in a fresh pile of dog crap. Same with most every other dumbass on this roster, there was something or other about the man he just didn't care for. However as the babyface he was Daniel still had the tactfulness to keep it impersonal. All he cared about was scoring those goddamn points. He didn't want to be Jack's "bro" half as much as he wanted to repeatedly punch the dude in his face, especially when he thinks back to the cheap victory Russell had stolen from him last time. A decent bloke wouldn't have accepted a tainted win such as that. If Daniel remembers correctly, he didn't even give his commiseration or any kind of acknowledgment that he only won due to interference, after that match Jack Russell simply celebrated like nothing was wrong. And why not he had just won the lottery. But not today because Bessell was on this time, and nothing was going to get in the way of him doing what he needed to do to keep himself alive in this tournament. Nothing. He was backstage pacing up and down his locker room right now, getting himself revved up just thinking about it.

April Divine
Headbutting people was far more punk than playing guitar hero. And another thing which is totally punk rock, was that April didn't care what anyone had to say about her, especially those who were calling her a sell out. What the fans thought and what the other wrestlers thought didn't matter at all to her, because while they might never admit it, they were all just jealous that she now had such a bright future in this business. She was special, and together with Paul Heyman they were going to take over the world. As of right now however she was just hanging out in her locker room, which wasn't exactly sufficient for a champion and the biggest homegrown star on the roster. It didn't even have her name on the door, something really there was no excuse for considering the length of time she was forced to spend in this place. She should have a room that properly reflected her status as a top star.

Daniel Bessell
Daniel was at the gym getting in a quick training session before he went out for a meal then spent the rest of the night at whatever was the least crowded pub he could find. He was going to have a few quite drinks and watch the footy, try to keep himself out of any fights since he had an important match coming up against Jack Russell. This was someone that Bessell had wrestled before, and Jack was good enough to get the win on that occasion. There was a bit of interference from Karl Anderson but he wasn't going to start making excuses for himself, not when Anderson didn't even lay a finger on him. Anyway, Daniel was going to be paying Russell the respect he deserved this time around. And he'll start by showing up in good shape and giving his opponent his full attention once the bell rings, which shouldn't be a problem so long as there wasn't any major distractions. Part of the reason why he had to send April away since she had been absolutely insufferable lately, even before joining up with Heyman and his gang. If she had told him beforehand he would have advised her against any dealings with this goddamn snake oil merchant. She was gullible and easily taken advantage of, Paul Heyman was a guy who uses people. It was a recipe for disaster. And Daniel was trying really hard not to let this bother him because he just wanted to focus on winning matches.

April Divine
April was at the gym training for whatever gets thrown at her. As far as she knew she was going to be making her next title defense against one of three possible opponents. And all she knows for sure is that one of these women was Jeannie Rose, while the other two would still have to wrestle each other yet to decide who meets Miss Rose in the match to determine the actual number one contender. It wasn't going to make any difference to April who it was that won contendership status because she was confident that she had the ability to defeat any bimbo on the roster. Including Jeannie, who last time April had the pleasure of giving a very hard headbutt to, not only winning a match but also showing who was more punk rock in the process. Which still stands, even though she had now officially sold her soul to a man who might as well be the devil. Speaking of that Daniel was totally pissed at her for keeping him in the dark, and now will no longer be letting April train with him, worried she might give away all his secrets to Paul Heyman and the Dangerous Alliance that she was so proud to be a member of. He was overreacting of course, she was pretty sure he'll calm down once he gets time to realize what a huge step up this is, and that he should really just be happy for her getting the attention that she deserved for once.
