I think I'll wait til I get it as a gift, The lack of creation titles right away kinda kills my want, as I pretty much set up a universe that I would be unable to produce in game. I always get the game no matter what so they got me but if theres one game to skip, its this one. The game looks like it moves identical to 2k19 with just a bunch of over the top fantasy stuff. I can admire it for creation parts but it felt like all the improvement focus went straight towards that. Did I just read create a belt is gone? What kinda bullshit is that? That mode was one of the best oh for the love of.. it is being patched back in. I know missing it once or twice happens, but I feel like i've been repeating this all day. News to me. Just getting to go through this thread for new videos and saw that. The split with yukes is really hurting 2ks game. They seem like theyve been dying to do this fantasy mode stuff since yukes probably been saying no to that goofy shit lol. Im interested what yukes will be able to make themselves. Theyve been working with the wwe franchise since smackdown on ps1. They could probably create a great competitor to the wwe franchise one day. Looked like graffiti spayed on the walls. Is this one of those other arenas like the MyCareer ones last year or is this apart of CAA? Either way, love it. But maaaaaaan, the motion blur *censored*ing up all the entrances is bothering me more than it should..... If the game would just look bad, than it would look bad, fine, but having an actually great looking game (by the quality of the models and objects, not the scans and animations) then being ruined with just a bad effect laying over the good graphics, while you can still see that good graphic for split seconds when nothing on the screen moves, that's what hurts.... No additional arenas, no Mexico, Japan, Baseball Stadium, zero. All the same. Not sure if posted, but Hell in a Cell now has a customizable weapons wheel which includes tables Which don't break when you go through the cell......... I can make an outside Deathmatch tournament Arena without wasting spots on making grass This can't be used in CAA, btw. Wow. That's so dumb. CAA is the mode I'm in 99% of the time and it gets nothing. They should've at least given us the new Halloween Havoc '98 minitron* and the Nitro set. * I've noticed that the WCW logo on the left and right video screens no longer glows orange. And instead of WCW on the left tron and nWo on the right tron, both trons say WCW. This would've been an invaluable thing to have for WCW 1996/1997 PPV's. When its a transitional game like this they need 3 years minimum they should have kept Yukes on and developed in the background until 2K22 but in essence its a moot point now my frustration is diminishing for this game already I just feel demotivated to even pick it up in the bargain bin, Ill follow closely to see what happens and hear peoples opinions and feedback but to see such a beloved series go down hill like this makes me question their integrity and effort into what they were hoping to achieve. The youtubers standing in as tester so to speak. Every game takes a while to download Day 1 nowadays and I have to think that has to do with cleaning some stuff up. Which is why the compromise suggestion would have worked the game would have felt solid, contracts could have been renewed to support the next 3 games with legends, no massive work to do to keep in budget and they could have taken their time. Why oh why do game developers think a rushed game will solve anything Ill never know. I knew the extra weapons were gonna be BS people thought they would get the fire extinguisher or the baking tray or mop or trash can lid and they got fantasy bullshit if someone would Have told me all the legends would be removed chance to convert old flair into last run flair and sting 2015 would all be gone with all this fantasy rubbish and terrible glitchy poor quality game I really wouldnt believe them its a shame because personally I felt for the last couple of years we had progressed expect for 2 things .... 1) The tired animations and double tired animations like the crawling pin, sweet chin music collapse, tombstone collapse were better in 2K15 then in 2K19 2) The bigger Hell in a Cell in 2K17 & 2K18 was better than 2K19 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As much as Im tempted to play on day one out of curiosity, Im really considering holding off and buying later. I hope most people do just to at least give the message. They really should consider a major discount. I sound repetitive with this but originals was such a bad idea to focus on after dropping yukes. Its like a young kid was given his parents house for himself and all the kid does is do shit his parents hated and leaves the house a complete mess. Called it season 2 or something and bought themselves some more time. WWE still would get their money that way too. There wont be a patch in time to fix these things on day 1. Were only a week from release now. This game isnt finished. It should be getting delayed. MR.J Posted October 15, 2019 Report Share Posted October 15, 2019 Its not a bluff from my end 100% not buying this year ever since 1997 its hard to not do it but when I think about no Sting, fantasy DLC and regressing models like Booker T whom they could have kept the king booker look from last year and just added the can you dig it song with the white red and black trunks her wore in his last run I find it easy to pass on it and literally for the first time ever I dont feel Im missing out except for the Fiend and Jerry Lawler Id rather pay for them to be patched into 2K19 than pay anything towards 2K20 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
