  1. 1. legends , modern stars, other

    • legends keep as many as can and add as many as can with new roster
    • mordern stars, more focus to new ppl dont worry about legends
    • retro versions of ingame stars ie 3/4 versions same guy, put focus on more rocks, undertakers all stars diff versions over the years and attires
    • or should they make a wwe2k legends retro game, 80s 90s stars, same game and gameplay just an oldskool feel

after feeling like there is a good chance 10/20 legends missing this year from last years game i came up with ideas and wanted to know what ppl want,

i think it would be a good idea if we had a wwe2k20 game focused only on the new guys the now roster

then a second game almost the same all same styles of play but themed from around the 80s and 90s relive monday night wars and no new stars so it plays and feels like its retro oldskool etc,

not like legends of wrestlemania as that game was empty in terms of game modes etc,

and then maybe be able to link both games if u wanted to

so if 200 superstars per game thats 400

plus 2k get to sell 2 games so its a win win

Your posts seem to be full of conjecture. Based on what, exactly?

Anyway, you won't need to wait long - the reveal is today.

Modern stars.

Would take Fabian Aichner & Killer Kelly over Hulk Hogan & Chyna any day of the week

There's a handful WWE alumni that I'd actually want and would use. Batista, Jericho, Punk, Raven and Jarrett just about rounds it out. More recently I'll miss Ambrose too but doubt he'd be considered a "legend"

A legends game in the same model as FPW where they just add to it occasionally with dlc packs and new moves would be fine assuming they gave us a good base to build on.

That game exists. It's called Fire Pro

For several years, ever since the series came to the PC, people have been making mods and creations, including custom moves for almost every wrestler with a televised match at some point

Uh...that's what I was referring to. Fire Pro World.

Yeah. And as I pointed out... That game already exists.

If it existed, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Fire Pro and the Smackdown legacy titles are totally different games.

What? You just said you wanted Fire Pro and that definitely exists. What do Smackdown legacy games have to do with that?

I want Spike Chunsoft's business model of regular dlc packs over the course of several years of support applied to a hypothetical legends focused game in the Smackdown legacy series.

A legends game in the same model as FPW

:shfit:

That's exactly what I said. We're discussing the Smackdown series on a Smackdown focused board, not Fire Pro. Reading comprehension, pal.

1. There hasn't been a "Smackdown Series" in over a decade

2. This very topic is about alternative games you want. Reading comprehension

3. Saying "I want exactly Fire Pro Wrestling, but only if it is called "SmackDown: Legends of Wrestling" is kinda stupid. The game you're looking for is out there, There is no reason to rename it

Don't cut the quote short, I was referring to the business model of FPW. If I said I wanted a legends based Fire Pro I would've explicitly said so or that I wanted something using that engine, which I didn't. but why would I? This isn't what's being discussed here.

This is a thread about the what people want from the Smackdown legacy series, now 2K__ (semantics). It's the same discussion we've had for years. Also repeating what you think I want serves no purpose, especially when I've already told you I don't want that particular something.
