I really need a laptop or something so I can watch Watch Along with the PPVs. That's *censored*ing great. Slater is an underrated entertainer, I swear. Generations
Awfully confident on King Gable some of you were Probably because it's the only thing that made sense, and WWE once again proved how delusional they are by doing the opposite of it. Generations
A tyrannical evil king doesn't make sense in fiction? Clearly I meant booking. We aren't talking about Game of Thrones here...we aren't talking about the tropes of children's stories. We're talking about pro wrestling...(the sole existence of which is meant to make people feel accomplished through the actions of other people). They had written this narrative where the scrappy little underdog was being shit on by absolutely everyone, and then they didn't let him win anyway. It was pointless. Yeah...it made no sense in the landscape of professional wrestling. All they did was exactly what everyone expected (and hoped that they wouldn't) do. It was a hollow ending to an otherwise engaging story.
St★rstruck
Eh. I can see Gable benefiting from his KOTR performance despite not winning the entire tournament. The story was there and Gable didn't HAVE to win; his strong showing in defeat could still lead to something big in the some time soon.

St★rstruck
Yeah, you're right. This is WWE... so you never know. I'm not saying that it will lead to anything, but I'm not ruling out the possibility that it can't or won't lead to something big later on.
