I hated GM mode. Universe mode isn't my thing. I don't make original CAWs anymore, so I don't want season mode or MyCareer. Not interested in the current roster, so didn't like Road to WM mode.

However, create-a-story is on a very short list of things that would INSTANTLY GUARANTEE a buy from me.

Another on that list is a return to SYM controls.

I mostly downloaded stories but did create two!

-Vince McMahon announced his retirement and handed all of his control to Shane. Shane then rebooted wwe at Wrestlemania with matches for vacant championships.

-Shane McMahon announced the return of WCW as a third brand with him as GM and having total control of anything related to the brand. A new roster draft would determine the brand's roster.

I got pretty good downloads for them on CC and 3 stars average for Vince's retirement while WCW's return got 4 stars. People wanted more but I focused on playing stuff I downloaded

I think the first year I actually remember King Moe was in the build to 2K15 and he made a list of like 25 people that are going to be on the cover "but maybe it will only be 1 of them" and when it was announced it was Cena he was like "See! I always knew"

All he does is make stupid predictions (mostly vague ones like predicting the cover stars) and then deletes anything that obviously ended up being wrong, so when you look back at his social media, it's only things he guessed correctly.

That's assuming you're a follower since he went private because people kept calling him out on his bullshit.

I haven't seen any of his stuff in the last year or two but I still see people taking about his lies on all the forums from time to time. I think he had/has a YT channel at one point and that's where I seen most of his old stuff from like 2015/2016 popping up in my suggested videos.

Saw some wwe2k20 drama on twitter yesterday - someone was all over the "youtubers" that got handed the keys to the city and have since kissed 2k's back side on twitter...

Didn't bother checking up on it - what was it about ?

Idk you saw it, you tell us who said it lol

I assume it's something about WWE 2K YouTubers who react/breakdown info being given credit/praise as creators as opposed to people who actually create the content (CAWs, etc)

So, wwe2k20 was supposed to be at the Gamescom with a hands off presentation for the media...but that is not happening now.

Doesnt surprise me sadly, the reaction outside of the hardcore fanbase to the trailer and specificly the in-game material, wasnt kind.

But still, its sad that there is no big hype all around for the wwe2k games...i remember when it really was a thing during HCTP and so.

Evidence? Sources?

I can give you the statement of the German Wrestling Games site if you want but i dont know if that helps you much.

Yeah dude, none of that implies that the event at Gamescom was pulled due to fan reaction which were you implying. Lol
Ehm i wasnt implying that this was the reason...lol, maybe learn to read a Post before.

Hmmmmm..... that is literally your own words. What does that seem to apply?

Instead of trying to be a smart-ass, learn to read your posts correctly first before you try to back-pedal.

K bud?

It implies nothing...like i said, learn to read..

I said clearly that it doesnt surprise ME since the overall reaction to the trailer wasnt the best.

Hopefully long hair gets fixed, retro Triple H's hair looked like a bunch of noodles glued to his head.....

Looked like the same hair model in the trailer, sadly.

King Moe literally uses EVERYTHING he can to make it a tweet. Doesn't matter if it's real or not.

He's been proven to be full of shit in the past and therefore has no credibility whatsoever.

This.

I know the entire thing.

Ok, there was this smaller youtuber that was blaming the big youtubers like ( Pulse,Tony the Pizza Guy,Lugeyps3) for ruining the game with the arcade stuff since they are the one biggest influence.

So pulse decided to make a rant on this Youtuber and basically saying that he shouldnt get all the blame because he is not a 2k exec etc etc

I like both styles of gameplay, but I think sim is the most important when it comes to longevity. They had it almost perfect in the one game that had the realistic physics. Can't remember which it was...but, you could really stack the weapons...and the hit detection was perfect. Sometimes there would be hilarious glitches...but that was part of the fun. That's the main thing that these games need, tbh...good weapon physics that allow for unpredictable outcomes, not just specialty weapon spot locations around the ring. That, and realistic breaking and chaining of moves. Again...some of the older games did this better than the modern ones.

NFL Gameday 98 was my jam. Probably my first PlayStation 1 game. I was so blown away by the graphics and I got hours and days and months and maybe even years of enjoyment out of it. Doesnt mean todays games arent miles ahead of that. Take that and apply it to any and all old wrestling games. They werent better....we were younger and our standards were lower. 2K has been crushing. Theyre my heroes. Heroes arent always gonna get the positive press, but theyre always on the side of good. They strive to give us something to be happy and hopeful about and proud of as wrestling fans. Not that my opinion should mean anything, but.. we are on the verge of a new decade of these games and Im seeing what I assume are the usual arguments..

You are speaking of SVR 2011.
