I had assumed, as Im sure everyone else probably did, that Daniel Bryan would be revealed as the mastermind behind the attacks. And that revelation would be showed at Clash of Champions, when Bryan helps Rowan defeats Reigns. But after what we just saw, now I'm not so sure. It's cool that in the later brackets guys like Elias and Gable get a good showing. Since, Ali and Adrade will surely do well without it. But, can't remember when is the last time I saw an Elias match this long lol At this point I'm down with whoever except Corbin. But I'm 90% sure Corbin will win it. They probably were talking with Harper for a return (in classic WWE fashion, where they just try to book people into angles without them actually signing). Probably doing that until negotiations fell through, so they dropped the whole thing. The fact that it was dragged out the way it was definitely seemed like they were waiting for something. Out of all the women they use on a regular basis, only Becky, Cross (face) and Sasha (heel) have actual roles. Right now you could make strong cases for Alexa, Charlotte and Bayley either way.
