Rowan's T- Shirts

Motown Saint

Recommended Posts

Since his return and aligning himself with Daniel Bryan, Rowan has worn a lot of shirts of either Metal Bands, Bars, or Horror Makeup Artists. Given that some on this forum have an interest in them, I thought I'd post a list of some of the shirts he's worn.(Credit to the good people on Reddit for some of the band names)

Feel free to add to this, or correct me if I messed up on anything.

Gojira and Kreator were my faves. Was genuinely happy to see those.

He has said he has so tons of Gojira since they and Amon Amarth are his favorites. Someone actually said he should wear a Cattle Decapitation shirt. Personally, I was happy to see the Soundgarden shirt.

Cattle Decapitation kinda goes against his and Bryans message lol.

I know that, but some dude on Reddit said that, and I thought "that makes no sense."

I guess Rowan likes post-metal and Viking metal the most. I heard that him and Josh Barnett were in Amon Amarth latest video "Raven's Flight"

So was Viktor from The Ascension. He does seem to like his power metal also, that is were me and Big Red differ. We agree on the thrash and the technical/melodic death, but I cant deal with the kooky power metal.

I do love the shirts though. Fun gimmick and some good promotion for bands like Tyr.

Agreed. It gives the underrated bands a platform.

Now if only Rowan would wear a shirt of Wintersun

Only band I knew was Alestorm, but I love em so that got me to pop when he returned in their shirt.

I really gotta check some of these out.

Edit: Actually, that's a lie. I know Slipknot, Powerwolf and Sabaton. Wow, it's too early for me to be posting.

I knew about Slipknot, Amon Amarth and Soundgarden, but the others were new to me.

Only one I was unfamiliar with is Heilung. Turns out they're playing a festival I'm attending next month, so I look forward to checking them out!

Have a good time dude! From what I heard, Amon Amarth might be coming near the States soon. Might have to check them out.

The general public who see that name on the shirt aren't going to know the lyrical themes of that band. They're going to see Rowan wearing that shirt and scratch their heads because it seemingly goes against their gimmick message.

Agreed. Those who are ill informed would get confused.
