Longtime pro wrestling referee Charles Robinson has found himself the victim of a major storage unit heist.

TMZ Sports was first to report the news on Saturday morning that the veteran WWE referee was robbed for approximately $55,000-worth of historic Hollywood memorabilia and wrestling collectibles.

Lil Naitch is now on the hunt to retrieve his stolen items, however thus far he doesnt appear to be having much luck.

Robinson reportedly went to check on his storage unit in Charlotte, North Carolina one month ago on Tuesday, May 28th, which is when he first discovered that he had been the victim of a robbery.

Among the financially significant items that belonged to Robinson that were stolen as part of the storage unit heist were ultra-rare Evel Knievel stunt cycle toys, collectible Chucky dolls, Friday the 13th action figures, Planet of the Apes lunchboxes and a laundry-list of WWE keepsakes and memorabilia.

The veteran pro wrestling referee has filed a police report about the matter, however so far officials have not been able to track down the culprit, nor have they made much progress in their efforts to do so.

An interesting note related to this story is that one of the items that came up missing from Charles Robinsons storage unit was a Jaws movie statue valued at $2,400.

The item coincidentally appeared for sale on eBay this past Thursday evening, June 27th, however the entire post, as well as the username of the person who put up the post, were removed before Robinson noticed.

Additionally, Robinson informed TMZ Sports that the security cameras at the storage company did not catch the thieves in the act. He also noted that he doesnt personally feel like the company is overly concerned with helping him get justice.

As part of their article on the subject, TMZ Sports released a nine-page document listing all of Charles Robinsons stolen items, as well as their estimated value. You can check out the PDF file by clicking here.

Robinson, who has worked for over 18-years as an official in WCW and WWE, is affectionately referred to as Lil Naitch within the industry due to his longtime friendship and working relationship with two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair.

He served as the referee for The Nature Boys memorable Retirement Match against fellow two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24.

That sucks. Wonder why a dude who works for WWE would have all that in a storage unit, though. Surely, the dude has a solid bank account and could afford an entire room in his house for such things. I would never trust a storage unit with that much value. And I assume the company in charge of the unit is insured, and should be paying him back for all of the shit they lost?

Yeah that's not how it works they don't pay for stuff that stolen and he probably done it because he thought it'll be safer than leaving it at his house when he's never home

Yes, that is exactly how it works.

If you run a storage company, you should be insured.

You are telling people that you will keep their belongings safe for a monthly fee. You don't personally pay for lost items. You pay an insurance company who covers the value of the items that you store. What world do you live in?

If you aren't insured against theft, then why the *Censored* would anyone store their stuff with you? They could literally just open your locker and steal your shit without any repercussions if that was the case.

You hire a guy to cut a tree next to your house and they have to be insured to cover the cost if the tree smashes your entire goddamn home. Yes, a storage company should be covered against theft, and Charles Robinson should be payed for what was stolen (not that it replaces any of it).

if there's a theft from a unit, the storage facility is responsible only if there's neglect on their part.

But most of the time Storage company is not liable

The "neglect" on their part would be a lack of cameras/security people/fencing/locks, etc. Of course their units should be more secure than what they obviously are. Stop talking nonsense. If you're in the business of storage, then you have one job...to safely store people's stuff.

You can have all that I still gets up broken into you have to sign a contract with a storage unit most of the time the contract they're not liable for stolen items they had all those security items what do you want a camera on every storage unit a gate at every storage unit

The storage unit won't be held liable because they're not liable
