What happened to Owen was super *censored*ed up...especially when nothing has changed.

Here we are in 2019, hearing about the rape allegations from a postmortem Ashley Massaro, CM Punk quotes on the John Oliver show about being forced to wrestle concussed and shitting his pants...and all on the eve of another tasteless show in Saudi Arabia that most performers don't wish to partake in. Sheesh.

Agreed. To think, Impact and ROH get a bad rep due to some alleged incidents, but nothing compared to all the things that happened in WWE.

I was thinking about this new 24/7 belt. It's basically the PC Hardcore Championship, so why didn't they just apply that principle here? The Hardcore belt was the old WWE belt held together with duct tape. WWE could have turned the old WWE belt into the 24/7 belt and added changes:

The WWE logo in the middle could have been turned into a blinged out analog clock that can be adjusted, spun, and if they wanted, to the exact time they actually won the belt. The sides plates where it says "WWE Champion" could have said, "Your Time is Up, My time is Now" (tribute to Cena and it's connected with the whole "time" concept) with "24/7" in the center.

If you are referring to the one Perfect smashed, that is not it. Someone actually owns that particular belt.

I know it wasn't the the actual WWF Championship. I meant the base design was intended to look like it was, and WWE could have somewhat applied that here. They also didn't need Mick Foley to come out and debut it. R-Truth should have. He could have said he was inspired by "his hero" John Cena who was a "fighting champion," and as a fighting champion he wants to do something that's "never been done before in the WWE... a belt that's defended 24/7!"

Just booked a ticket for RAW in Glasgow in November. 2nd televised event for me.

First time going to a WWE event alone though, none of my friends could make it this time around.

Personally, I like the direction they went more than your idea. Your idea is just too much of a retread and on-the-nose. 24/7 title should have its own unique image without being tied to the past too much.

I still can't find which belt maker actually designed the WWE 24/7...which is hilarious to me. It's usually not hard at all to find the maker posting production photos after the reveal of a new belt. <span style=?">

Have you tried looking beneath a mountain? It's a good hiding spot.

I said it in the AEW topic...but, WWE will get a viewer spike tomorrow night...just from people who want to see how they respond to AEW. If they drop the ball, you're probably going to see a permanent loss of viewers equal to whatever that spike is. I'm fully prepared for WWE to put on a worse show than usual and make cheap jokes about AEW like WCW used to do with WWF. They're probably gonna have their "Mankind will put asses in seats" moment tomorrow...it's going to be a beautiful trainwreck. All while Renee Young sits awkwardly silent.
