So, I found out what Amon Amarth means. I found out it's from the name of a Volcano in the J.R.R. Tolkien books. Didn't know where to post it, so I posted it here.

Ye it's Sindarin for Mount Doom. Not just a volcano, but THE volcano.

 

There are a million metal bands named after Tolkien lore, and i could probs name you most of them
