Posted December 15, 2018 Report Share Posted December 15, 2018 I posted this in the prediction section, but I wanted to know what people think about this theory my brother and I had: As unbelievable as Becky's run as champion has been, we are still owed a match with her and Ronda Rousey. The animosity between the two has been built to a point where if it happens it will be worthy of the main event of WrestleMania. The way we get there is through Ronda continuing her undefeated streak and Becky winning the Royal Rumble, challenging Ronnie and switching to Raw a la Asuka last year. That means that Becky has to drop her title before then. Asuka wins the title at TLC as she is the x-factor in the match as Charlotte and Becky who have their own infamous rivalry between them. If they want Becky vs. Ronda to happen, that's honestly the most logical way of doing it without taking away any hype. You're right, it makes total sense... which is why it's probably but gonna happen. We may get the Mania match, but maybe not it that way. But hey, it makes for a great "what could have been" story. With someone of her credentials in combat sports outside of WWE, she'd be stupid to not think that WWE wouldn't have her skyrocketed towards the title scene and go undefeated. But for her to flat-out say that she herself doesn't want anyone to go over her is indeed something. I think they had a bigger match in mind before all these injuries started happening lol They shouldn't have put names such as AJ Styles, Charlotte, Asuka, The Miz, Braun Strowman or Bobby Lashley in it. Or make it not a several month long mess and announce the RR stipulation from the get go. They only announced that to boost interest in the thing, but forgot the fact that they had no idea what they were doing with the MMC, How did this come down to Carmella & Trugh vs. Mahalica?
