LEGION
Cael Reagan (The Irish Crusaders/LEGION) Ronin McCallum (The Irish Crusaders/LEGION) NEWA Accomplishments (Tag-Team): 1x. NEWA World Tag-Team Champion Alpha Tag League Champions (2017) Tag-Team Wiki The Irish Crusaders are a professional wrestling tag-team consisting of Cael Reagan and Ronin McCallum (rel. Name Alexander McIntyre). The Irish Crusaders formed in late 2008 and wrestled for various promotions, such as Ring of Honor (ROH), Dragon Gate USA, Pro Wrestling Noah, New European Wrestling Association (NEWA) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). They signed a developmental contract with WWE in 2014 and were added to the NXT roster shortly after. They are also known as The Celtic Raiders (NXT) and Celtic Killer Squad/CKS (TNA). Irish Whip Wrestling (2008-2011) Debut & Tag-Team Champions (2008-2009) Both men were individually trained and signed to the Irish promotion Irish Whip Wrestling, despise neither of them being very experienced. Ronin had been with the promotion for two years at that point, but competed under his real name, Alex McIntyre. When Reagan debuted the two men immediately formed a tag-team. They worked as baby faces of the promotion and in very early 2009 defeated the tag-team Champions to become the youngest IWW World Tag-Team Champions in the promotion’s history. They would hold onto the champions for five months before losing them to the British Nightmare. Sporadic Appearances/Heel Turn (2009-2010) After their title lose the Irish Crusaders took a break from the promotion and went onto the international wrestling market, in order to improve their craft. They wrestled on several occasions for promotions such as Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw), Dragon Gate USA and CMLL. They returned sporadically to their home promotion, but under their new and cocky gimmick and therefore as heels. They became Irishmen, who see themselves above the two Irish nations and the people in it. Return, Tag-Team Champions & Departure (2010-2011) In mid-2010 the Crusaders made a surprising return to IWW and became a regular tag-team of the division once again. The Irish Crusaders started to feud with The Switchable Conspiracy (Jon Moxley & Sami Callihan), who were wXw Tag-Team Champions at that time. In December the Irish Crusaders defeated them for the tag-team titles. They would keep the title until April 2011, before losing a loser-leaves-company match against Zack Sabre Jr & Douglas Williams. The Irish Crusaders haven’t wrestled in the company since. Ring of Honor (2009-2014; 2015-present) Sporadic Appearances (2009) During their break from Irish Whip Wrestling Ronin and Cael wrestled various shows for Ring of Honor, facing the likes of Claudio Castagnoli & Chris Hero, The American Wolves and the Age of Fall. They always wrestled as Faces. The Irish Welcome & Feud with the Briscoe Brothers (2010-2011) In 2010 the Irish Crusaders officially joined the ROH roster. They developed heel characters for the first time in their career, by getting into brawls with various fans (played by local wrestlers) and by refusing to do the code of honor without the usage of cheap tactics to hurt their opponents. On 3rd June they were confronted by Jay and Mark Briscoe, who were able to stand their ground while brawling with the Crusaders. The following months the Crusaders were (kayfabe) banned from every ROH television taping. They still showed up on PPV and threatened to beat up various wrestlers, unless they get unbanned from ROH and a shot at the World Tag-Team Championship. At Final Battle (2010) they interfered in the Briscoe Brother’s World Tag-Team title shot against Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin. The next week the Irish Crusaders were resigned for one night only in a number one contender match against the Briscoe Brothers in October’s 9th Anniversary Show. Later the match got the stipulation that the Crusaders would be signed permanently if they win, but they would have to stay away from ROH forever if they lost. The Irish Crusaders won to end this feud and later defeated the World’s Greatest Tag-Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) at Honor Takes Center Stage in April for the ROH World Tag-Team Championship. Tag-Team Champions, Various Feuds & Alliance with Kevin Steen (2011) The Irish Crusaders defended their titles numerous times on TV and PPV against people like the Bravado Brothers (Harlem & Lance), Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin and many more all around the globe. They aligned themselves with Kevin Steen when Steen was punished by the ROH officials because he (kayfabe) missed a few dates due to his alcoholism. The Irish Crusaders became Steen’s personal bodyguards against various wrestlers who tried to get a hand on Steen. At Death before Dishonor IX the Irish Crusaders lost their tag-team titles after holding them for five months to the Briscoe Brothers. At Final Battle 2011 the Irish Crusaders competed in a 6-man Tag-Team match with Kevin Steen against The Briscoe Brothers and Steve Corino, with Steen’s ROH contract being on the line. The match was won when Kevin Steen pinned Mark Briscoe. The SCUM Crusaders; SCUM; Feud with ROH (2012-2013) After their tag-team title loss the Irish Crusaders stayed affiliated with Kevin Steen and later joined by Jimmy Jacobs and Steve Corino to form SCUM. The Irish Crusaders were now unofficially renamed as the SCUM Crusaders. They competed in the ROH tag-team division through the whole year 2012 and even into 2013. They didn’t regain the titles, despise getting several title shots. In December McCallum defeated Tommaso Ciampa to win the ROH Pure Championship and hold the title until the end of SCUM in 2013, which also marked the day the Pure Championship would be declared vacant. At June 23rd the Crusaders were part of the Steel Cage Warfare match between ROH and SCUM in a losing effort. Post SCUM; Various Storylines & Depature (2013-2014) After SCUM was forced to disband the Irish Crusaders returned to their tough Irishmen gimmick and became a mainstay in the ROH Tag-Team division. They had feuds with the likes of Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero & Alex Koslov) and the reDRagon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly). The team signed a developmental deal with the WWE in Fall 2014 and worked their last match for ROH at War of the Worlds. Return (2015-present) After their release from WWE, ROH confirmed the return of the Irish Crusaders to the promotion on their website. An ongoing social media war teases a match between the Crusaders and The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian). WWE (2014-2015) NXT Wrestling (2014-2015) After signing with the WWE the Irish Crusaders headed to Orlando, Florida for WWE’s developmental brand NXT Wrestling. While keeping their individual names, their tag-team has been said to get a new name. In November they started wrestling at house shows under the team name “The Celtic Raiders” wrestling the likes of The Lucha Dragons (Kalisto & Sin Cara) and Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady. An official date for their debut is not set at this point. The Celtic Raiders made their NXT Television debut in January 2015, when they teamed up with Finn Bálor in a six-man Tag-Team match against Adrian Neville, Kevin Owens & Hideo Itami and ended up winning. In February they defeated the tag-team of Wesley Blake & Buddy Murphy to become No.1 contenders to the NXT Tag-Team Championship. They lost their title match at NXT TakeOver against the Lucha Dragons. It was reported that the tag-team was experiencing backstage problems with the higher ups. In March they asked for their release from NXT and it was granted on 3rd April 2015. Their last televised match for the company was a losing effort against Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady. TNA/Impact Wrestling (2015-present) Sporadic Appearances (2008-2012) From 2008 to 2012 the Irish Crusaders made various appearances for TNA. They competed several times on Xplosion. Their most memorable appearance was in 2012, when they competed as a part of Team Imperial in the Tag-Team World Cup. Feud with the American Wolves (2015-present) The Irish Crusaders debuted in TNA on April 17th under the name “Celtic Killer Squad”, often referred to simply as “CKS”, by attacking The American Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards) after the Wolves defeated Bram & Magnus to win the TNA World Tag-Team Championship on an episode of Impact Wrestling. The following week Ronin McCallum and Cael Reagan were offered a contract, by Dixie Carter, with the condition that they would have to join the “Carter Family”. CKS accepted and were granted a Tag-Team title match against the Wolves May 1st. Pro Wrestling Guerilla (2015-present) After their release from NXT it was confirmed that the Irish Crusaders would join the Pro Wrestling Guerilla roster in 2015 for the DDT Tag-Team Title tournament. Although the same could be said about the CKS. Blair/Amelie Van Stock (LEGION) Backstory: She is the daughter of a wealthy family from the Netherlands. She came to Chicago in order to study photography, where she met Pan Meredith, a young woman, just signed to SupremePRO. The two of them became very close friends and Van Stock became interested in wrestling by association. In 2014 (?) she contacted Shannon Bourgeau and started her training with Pans tag-team partner. She debuted for SupremePRO as the third member of the "Factual Disaster" Tag-Team of Shannon & Pan, rebranding the group under the name "LEGION" in the process. Since then she has mostly accompanied the other two to the ring and competed in multi-person matches for NEWA. She also accompanies the Irish Crusaders to the ring (Bottom 2 attires). Her most infamous moment was walking to the ring covered up only by all the titles LEGION was holding at the time. (3 Belts of a Trios title + 2 of Women's Tag-Titles + 2 of Open-Gender Tag-Titles + 1 Open Gender singles title.) The Tag-Team of Pan and Blair is called "Blood Angel"
