Generations
Big loss. I always liked 'Insomniac with Dave Attell' more than 'No Reservations', so I definitely didn't watch NR as much as other people. I think I was kind of bitter than Attell had that show cancelled and then Bourdain just popped up with the same concept. But it was a pretty good show whenever I did watch it...and Bourdain always seemed like a cool guy. I wonder if his suicide stems from the fact that he turned his relaxation time into a career and thus had no proper outlet to relax anymore. Wouldn't be surprised if traveling the world just stopped being enjoyable to him.

WNX
So is this gonna be the new thing this year? "Cancer is doing all the work so let's bump up the suicides". Stupid phone won't let me read the rest of the article so I don't know the details, but that suuuuucks man
maskedmaniac
Suicides always been a thing, nothings changed. Big name celebrities have been killing themselves for decades, from Cobain to Cornell. Bourdain doesn't surprise me though, this reminded me of Hunter S. Thompson in a way, another guy with skeletons in his closet who had a pretty gloomy outlook of life.
Senex Beast
He mentioned in interviews before that he had an unhappy soul. Maybe that feeling with other new factors lead to it
Generations
Actually just read an article the other day that suicide rates are climbing in a big way. That's not to say that losing people to suicide has not always been a thing, because it definitely has. But, yeah...I did just see something about that like...two days ago. Being entirely serious when I say that it has something to do with the current state of politics, and the "me first" attitude that more and more people seem to have these days...but that's just my opinion. It's easy to feel like no one gives a shit about anything in 2018...because it's not far from the truth.
WNX
Suicides always been a thing, nothings changed. Big name celebrities have been killing themselves for decades, from Cobain to Cornell. I say this because the Kate Spade thing was still hot off the press and then Bourdain happen. More broken souls may follow suit
