classiq.
The WWE may be in the midst of another spending spree. Two of the biggest names on the independent wrestling scene may be showing up in NXT by the time the promotion has its next TakeOver event. Rumors have been floating around for a few months now that both Keith Lee and WALTER are on the WWEs radar. Per PW Torch, Lee is already signed to the WWE and will be reporting to NXT soon. PWTorch has learned from multiple sources that Keith Lee has signed with WWE and is expected to report to NXT in the near future after finishing up his independent dates in May. Also according to PW Torch WALTER has been offered a deal with the WWE but has yet to sign it. PWTorch sources have confirmed that WALTER has been offered a WWE deal. International signings are usually very complicated and the process for WWE to sign an international talent takes a long time to play out. According to multiple sources, WALTER has not signed the deal WWE offered him. The 33-year-old Lee has competed for Ring of Honor, Evolve and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Wrestling out of Texas, Lees match with Donovan Dijak at the PWGs 2017 Battle of Los Angeles was awarded a five-star rating by Dave Meltzer. Hailing from Austria, WALTER has been wrestling across the world since 2007. Standing 64 and weighing over 300 pounds, WALTER is a two-time Progress Atlas Champion and also competed in a five-star match, per Meltzer, with Zack Sabre Jr. at PWG All Star Weekend 13 Night Two. Last month both Lee and WALTER tore the house down at PWG All-Star Weekend 14, Night 2. In the main event, Lee put his PWG world title on the line in a three-way match versus WALTER and Jonah Rock. With Lee looking to be on his way to NXT, and WALTER not too far behind, who would you like to see both men feud with when they officially arrive on Wednesday nights? https://www.cagesideseats.com/wwe/2018/5/3/17315878/report-potential-keith-lee-and-walter-deals-with-wwe
Guest
These truly are B I G S I G N I N G Z. Can't wait to see these two against Ohno, mad jealous of the Axxess crowds that got to see em over Mania weekend.

BestInTheWorld614
Not familiar with them. Im all for new faces and always buy into the hype for better or worse. I hope WWE adds the tier options soon with different companies so I can see wrestlers from all around. I know I can watch it on YouTube and stuff but the Network is so convient. Generations
I'm familiar with these guys...but I really don't think I'd call them "big signings". By my estimation, there are only a handful of big signings left. Jay Lethal. Kenny Omega. Pentagon Jr. The return of Cody Rhodes. Young Bucks. The Briscoes. And any of the top Japanese talent from NJPW...that's about it.
LEGION
^ WALTER is like Europe's biggest star atm. He's definitely a big signing. And Der Ringgeneral is definitely one of the best Heavyweights in the business. Keith Lee is everything but confirmed. With WALTER... I guess his match with Ilja Dragunov will be very telling
Creepia
Dude, WALTER is a B I G signing absolutely. His match vs. PCO at Spring Break 2 holy shit, I jumped out of my seat. He's a great talent and could do very well fill Lars' role on NXT should Lars get called up before. Keith Lee is cool too, always been in impressed by him, but WALTER is the big news here. What a B I G B O Y

Lil' Kazu
WALTER and Lee are much hotter than Lethal or the Briscoes in 2018.
Creepia
Lethal a couple years ago was on fire, but you can tell that hype has lessened since. The Briscoes for sure aren't as hyped as either Lee or WALTER. Don't remember any MOTY candidates the Briscoes have put on recently and I can name you some both of these guys have. Generations
WALTER and Lee are much hotter than Lethal or the Briscoes in 2018. Nah. You seem to be confusing name value with potential. Lethal and Briscoes might have a lot less potential...but the name value is higher. Higher name value = bigger signings.

Generations
And you're confusing momentum with name value Nah. A big signing is about name value and mainstream knowledge of said name. If the majority of the WWE audience has no idea who those guys are, then they're hardly going to be treated as big signings. They're going to be lumped in with the rest of the NXT rookies, where they will outshine most others...but they aren't getting Adam Cole treatment, for example. They aren't going straight to the top. CROSS-Out
I took the "big signings" bit as a pun. Since.. you know, both guys are big dudes.
Creepia
I like how Gen just gave us his definition of the word "big" (which is being used as an adjective and therefor has room for interpretation) and said "this is what is being said you should think the same as me". They're big names in the current climate of the industry. Big is the appropriate word.
LEGION
Also... Just because there are "bigger" names, doesn't mean these two aren't big names aswell
Generations
I didn't attempt to redefine anything. "Big" to hardcore fans is not the same as "Big" to the general audience. You know this...so stop acting like I'm speaking another language.
Creepia
Ah yes, hardcore fans vs the casual audience. That's the conversation to be having! Let's argue the semantics of the words used an article instead of actually talking about the subject of the matter!
Bushy.
I remember Keith Lee from that tag team in ROH, but I dont watch Indy wrestling anymore so Im not that familiar with him. And I dont know the other guy at all.
Creepia
Imagine a very large, very tall Austrian man who doesn't have much definition by way of muscles, but you could picture him giving a German Suplex to a grizzly bear.
