Have not watched yet but I just came across a clip of Seth braining Finn with a curb stomp...that is dope. I wonder if he just said *Censored* it I will pay the fine or they are actually letting him use it.

Also saw Jericho confirmed for next week. This year is wild already.

Kevin Owens has missed the last two nights of WWE Smackdown Live events due to what was described as an existing injury the former Universal champion has been working through, PWInsider.com has learned.

Owens appeared on the first night of the Smackdown Live tour this past weekend in Hildalgo, Texas but did not appear the second night in Hildalgo or Monday night in Corpus Christi, Texas.

The belief among those I've spoken with is that it's not considered a serious issue and that WWE likely pulled Owens as a preemptive measure to insure he would be OK and healthy for the 1/28 Royal Rumble, where Owens and Sami Zayn are slated to challenge WWE champion AJ Styles in a handicap match in the main event for the Smackdown brand on the joint PPV in Philadelphia.

All signs are Owens will appear in some capacity at tonight's Smackdown Live taping, but similar to Jason Jordan on Raw, he may be relegated to a non-physical role. That will be determined later today.

....so this actually was a good RAW? I'm watching YT-clips and there are so much memes, Braun wrecking everything, including a truck, including I'M NOT FINISHED UNTIL EVERYBODY CATCH THESE HANDS, including Booker pushing Cole into Braun to escape on MLK-day too wow, Nia injured, return of the Curb Stomp, JJ pissing off The Bar, Woken Matt Hardy fully transitioning into the surreal with a personalized nameplate and own graphics.

The WWE website has confirmed that the finals of the WWE United States Title tournament will no longer be taking place at the January 28th Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The finals will now take place at the January 23rd SmackDown episode from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.

Tonight's SmackDown will still feature both semi-final matches - Xavier Woods vs. Jinder Mahal and Bobby Roode vs. Mojo Rawley. The winners of those matches will then meet the following week to crown a new champion.

Speculation is that the champion crowned on January 23rd will now face former champion Dolph Ziggler at the Royal Rumble. Ziggler never officially announced that he was relinquishing the title but the storyline is that SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan took Ziggler's actions, laying the title down in the ring and walking away while later ignoring Bryan's calls, as his way of relinquishing.

With the finals pulled from the Rumble, below is the updated card for the big event. The Rumble pay-per-view takes place on January 28th from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
