No worries man, I didn't take anyones questions as whining, I think quite a few people here get that in going through some shit right now and everyones being understanding, which is awesome. Yeah you hit the share button twice quickly to start recording, and then obce again once youre done to get uploading. I upload matches to YouTube and I can't tell you how many times I've lost the beginning of a long match because of the 15 minute limit. Somebody give GMP a 3 liter Pepsi for this revelation! CROSS-Out Posted February 19, 2018 Author Report Share Posted February 19, 2018 Alright guys, here's the situation. first off, I want to make it clear I am not cancelling the tournament. Come hell or high water, i'm getting it all done. But I wanted to give you all an explanation as to why its taking so long and why it may take a while longer. Soon after I started getting the tournament ready, I got hit with a lot of stuff. A lot of double whammys that are, to put it bluntly, putting me in a rough state of mind. The family members I live with decided to get two new puppies, but decided not to plan ahead for it, so for the first two weeks I got stuck looking after them for 8 hours a day every day. At the same time, I've been watching my own pet, a cat and best friend i've had since I was 8 years old (I am 24, nearing 25) slowly waste away due to kidney disease, age, and senility. This has caused me to constantly make plans only to have to stop them and when I finally have free time, be so frustrated, tired, and unwilling to do anything but try and relax. This is without even taking my health problems into consideration. This morning, I was told by my younger brother that my cat had completely lost control of his bladder, and sure enough he wasn't even trying to make it to the litter box anymore, just pissing directly wherever he was at the time he had to go, and has stopped eating completely, only being content to drink small bits of tuna juice. As well, he's once more lost weight and is now nothing more than skin and bones. Because of this I am now, on top of all the frustrations i've got going on (many of which I haven't mentioned here), having to decide whether to euthanize my best friend of 16 years this week. I know that may sound silly or stupid to let it effect me that much, but please understand, this cat got me through some really, really rough shit in my life, and I may very well in fact owe my life to him in one way or another. So this entire situation is, to put it politely, royally messing with my head. Whats more, I also promised myself that when he passed, one way or another i'd find a way to move away from the family I live with. Because of all this, I can say safely that I doubt very little is getting done this week. I don't want to say for sure, but I'm saying that I wouldn't expect much from me until I get everything thats kind of ripping me up sorted out. I apologize if you expected something this week, especially considering I was supposed to record on saturday. I would like to reiturate, the tournament is NOT cancelled. I will make it happen. Saturi Posted February 19, 2018 Report Share Posted February 19, 2018 I don't wanna be the "bad News barrett" here but we lost our Family cat to kidneys disease last year so you should prepare yourself to say goodbye to your cat soon. I know it's very hard because even when many say "it's just a pet", many of us know that if you grow up together with your pet it is far more than just a pet. It's a family member you live with day in day out. Take your time and enjoy the remaining time with your cat as also take care of yourself and your life issues. No matter how hard your Situation is, you can pull through and you can believe me on that! I had desperate times in my life that others would had given up a long time ago but I never did and never would. We humans are a very sturdy species and can survive through the hardest times ever, all you need is to have the will to not give up.
