It's Slammy Season and you're all gonna pick from the best matches, moments and superstars of the year. Closing date for your votes is December 30th and I'll get the results up shortly after. So here goes! Votes are in and the results are up! Saturi Posted December 12, 2017 Report Share Posted December 12, 2017 Erm... the whole reason of Awards is that People should be able to pick the ones they think deserve a slammy, not getting only a list of the ones you personally think are worthy to have one. Leaving out some categories isn't helpful either in my opinion. If braun strohman even gets his own categorie so a slammy it's definately on his lap. Due to this and since the Overall votes Count, he will automatically get the Superstar of the year Award aswell since his category will give him all the extra votes needed. I know that the wwe does it in a similar way but I think you need to either change some stuff or leave the votes open for the people to fill up the categories with the people they think deserve to be nominated. You put then the top five nominees to the finals for People to vote on then. As a sidenote: James never won the womens in the bank match since he wasn't part of the match at all, he just helped carmella get it which ended up in a controversy. I think after his clean burial by Triple H in India they wouldn't have thought of Mahal as a Superstar of the Year, even with his fairly hefty reign. So I'm gonna knock the options out and let you pick your own with main roster and NXT options for superstars. However, the Braun highlight category is staying. I mean Neville and Finn are way above Jinder in talent and liked a lot more, but Jinder has been WWE Champion for half of the year. Kayfabe-wise, that's more than enough to be nominated. Yeah, she's undefeated...but she still hasn't done shit, lol - and she hasn't even been on the main roster for a full 2 months yet. If anything, I'd put Asuka as the best female in NXT (Peyton hasn't done shit; I'd put Nikki and Ember above her), and probably Alexa or Charlotte for the main roster.
