Preferably #1 and preferably a new era guy as opposed to Randy and Triple H.... Like I'm also expecting Cena to win this year considering the rumble isn't even using this platform anymore for newer fresher talent to win. St★rstruck Posted December 12, 2017 Report Share Posted December 12, 2017 Over the past years, it's been Orton, HHH, Reigns, Batista, Cena, Sheamus, Del Rio and Edge. I think I got that in the right order, idrk...but to me, Edge was the last good Rumble victory. Just about every Rumble victory aside from maybe Del Rio and Orton's last year was sort of predictable. And that's not to really say that predictability in Rumble matches is a bad thing - because the winner of the Rumble match typically has a really good push and a lot of exposure leading up to the show - but most of the victories have been from guys that are already well-established stars that could practically jump in to that spot at any time with a few wins. That's the only other person I would love to see win it at this point that makes the most sense besides Braun. I hope we get some colorful attires in this rumble match.. there's nothing worse than seeing majority of the superstars wearing black/dark attire in a ring. Because hey. everyone tried to beat Lesnar besides Roman Reigns. While he casually stroles the midcard lane... Then all of a sudden... What do you know? Spear. Fans didnt want him in the main event all the time, so they kinda gave us that. While the booking of the show revolves around the grand story of him beating Lesnar... Besides, SD had it last year.
