Lil' Kazu
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the plan for Finn Balor vs Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble is, as of yesterday morning, off the books. Apparently Vince feels like Balor isn't over enough for that match. Meltzer always said that they are now scrambling for an opponent for Lesnar at this point and that the plan for Wrestlemania is still Brock vs Roman with Reigns winning. Vince books Balor to get squashed by Kane and then says he's not over enough. Genius.
Creepia
Dont buy it. Vince isnt deaf or blind, he can hear and see Finns reactions. What this article is really saying is; Finn is a likely opponent for Lesnar, but we dont actually know for sure so we are just covering our asses if that match doesnt happen. Crazy.
It should be the young upstart Kane instead. Seen a few of his past developmental matches and he's quite good. And he's just getting started.

Willows Way
Honestly i really dont wanna see Finn/Brock so im kinda glad. I would like to see a triple threat with Joe, Balor, & Brock tho.
Lil' Kazu
Joe already got his shot and lost. I think Finn vs Brock could be great if they gave it what they gave AJ vs Lesnar. I think it would be good for Balor too, I mean, the Lesnar match didn't hurt AJ at all.
EJ!
And Balor is a good 20 or so pounds lighter than AJ so those biels AJ took will be nothing compared to what Balor would get. I would like to see this match happen if, like MRN, its actually a match.
Creepia
If you watched AJ vs. Brock you shouldnt have doubts over Finn vs. Brock.
Mr.Dreadful
Plans for Finn Balor to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at The Royal Rumble have been changed. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline received word that WWE changed plans Monday morning and were talking about it on Sunday as well. Vince McMahon apparently doesn’t feel that Balor is over enough to have a match with Lesnar at The Rumble and that is the reason Balor was recently put in matches against Strowman, Kane and Samoa Joe and didn’t come out on top. Meltzer indicated that WWE could book Lesnar to face Braun again at The Royal Rumble but the problem is that we have already seen that match and the company doesn’t want to make Strowman look weak with another loss to Lesnar. Meltzer said that WWE is “scrambling” for an opponent for Lesnar and plans are “up in the air” right now. "So the Royal Rumble Main Event was scheduled to be Brock Lesnar vs. Finn Balor for the Universal Championship. And obviously, if you watched the show last night, you probably would come to the conclusion that’s probably not the direction they were going to go. And if you watched RAW tonight, I think that you would empathetically realize that had to have changed. So what I was told was that the official change was actually made this morning. But it was definitely talked about yesterday. Vince McMahon felt that Finn Balor wasn’t over enough. I think obviously he decided even before, with how that match was laid out. Finn Balor wasn’t put in that match to shine." http://www.wrestlingattitude.com/2017/11/vince-mcmahon-not-convinced-by-finn.html "the company doesn’t want to make Strowman look weak with another loss to Lesnar" so book Braun to win duh. and do a last man standing match. and as far as Balor goes, maybe WWE if you didnt book him so shitty then people would have a reason to get behind him. Lil' Kazu
I'd also be happy with a Rollins vs Lesnar rematch and it would make a lot of sense from a storytelling standpoint, as Rollins is the other member of the Shield Brock hasn't defeated in a singles match and that would be a nice lead in to Lesnar vs Reigns at Mania. classiq.
Sad that the perception of Finn is that he isnt getting over. The Bray Wyatt feud did nothing for him in his pursuit of a title. Not to take anything away from you know who, but Finn should be the one holding the IC title now. lightning116
I'm 50-50 with this. Yeah. Finn Balor really isn't all that over. BUT, I'm getting Damien Sandow vibes just reading this.

Willows Way
Lmao Finn is like the most popular face on Raw. He aint no Damien Sandow gimme a break.
Beardd
If Braun's a face, I disagree about most popular. But otherwise, yeah. He's up there along with the Shield.
lightning116
Typical quick responses. Figured. Finn Balor isn't that over. He really isn't. And the Damien Sandow comparison is from when HE won Money In The Bank. A former writer even talked about it. How Vince wasn't high on Sandow (despite giving him the briefcase anyways) and saying that he'll fail to get over. So Sandow was booked to lose over and over, including to friggin' Santino Marella CLEAN and all of a sudden Vince was like, "See? I told you he'll fail to get over." Self-making prophecy. That's all this is with Balor. Gets concussed by Jinder Mahal, placed in a NOTHING feud with a NOTHING guy in Bray Wyatt. SAVED from that Bray Wyatt feud when he got sick and beat Styles, only then to job out to Kane. THAT is the Sandow comparison. Next time, THINK. Willows Way
Well Braun is a monster face who kills anyone & everything so i consider him in a league if his own. Lightning what the *Censored* are you talking about? His feud with Bray wasnt "nothing" because you dont like Bray. Its was a good midcard feud and put Balor over strong. Balor then won a dream match over AJ Styles of all people. People love the guy so i really dont get your comparison. And for the last *censored*ing time he didnt job to Kane. He lost to a monster heel they are tryin to push. Even if Vince thinks hes not good enough to challenge Brock that doesnt mean hes not over. Brock was also gunna face Seth at one point so is Seth Danien Sandow too?
Beardd
Lmao what does getting concussed by Jinder Mahal (who Balor beat in a short match) have anything to do with the point you're attempting to make?

Overly negative, incredibly jaded and completely wrong in every way possible, but he would never admit it and comes off looking like a complete and utter bore with every passing word. Funny thing is, you are genuinely wrong lol. Do we watch the same show? He gets some of the bigger reactions every week despite lingering in the mid card. Did you not hear his reaction at Survivor Series? If you think THAT isnt over then I actually dont think you understand what wrestling is. Is this typical response enough for you? Or do I need to carry on giving legitimate reasons just to be ignored and for you to move and be negative about something else? You said a lot of words in that post, but you never actually said anything. Santino, Bray, Jinder... what? None of that has anything to do with the sheer FACT that Finn Balor is an over superstar. Also just because you post things in capital letters doesnt make what youre saying TRUE.
