New tag team moves

i was thinking this last nite.

WWE 2K18 probably has more tag moves than every pre-2K wrestling game....combined.

ur Here comes the pain, day of reckoning, fire pro's, GIant gram, no mercy, SmackDown Vs Raw series.

like for me, Giant Gram 2000 on Dreamcast was the top dog, as far as Tag Team moves goes. It just seemed like an endless combination of tag moves. Every tag match i would see something new.

but going thru trying to edit tag finishers last nite. The amount of moves is staggering. I felt like i was scrolling for like 5 mins lol

someone complained that we did not put in enough tag moves. i kinda chuckled because we've blown out the library. Now i just need to get rid of some of those old ones that seem to get assigned to every team.

well....they must not have do go thru the list of tag finishers to find stuff. Cuz it took me forever to browse thru it last nite.

Pinioning Body Blow

Low Kick

just make sure u keep those. Or replace them. Because those are the most generic and common tag moves in the corner tag position.

theres def stuff that i wouldn't cry over if they were gone. Like Double Slingshot Suplex always annoys me. Because its actually a Slingshot Reverse Suplex. Which idk who that was put in the game for back in the day. But literally nobody does that ish in current wrestling. I've never seen it. But tag teams have actually done a normal Double Slingshot Suplex (tully blanchard style). And i wish it was that kind every time i see it in the list.

and Double Hip Toss annoys me. Because theres 2 of them. And they are essentially the same. I wish one of them was a normal standing hip toss which is more common. Instead of the falling hip toss that both of these are.

I do often wonder who does these movesets, and why certain moves seem to get assigned to everyone. Like, the amount of times Ive seen the michinoku driver assigned randomly is insane

they have like 200 ppl in the game. As someone who spends a lot of time editing the ingame movesets to be more accurate. It takes me like 1 or 2 days just to do one moveset. And thats not even really counting the time of actually watching matches or anything. Its just not feasible to make 200 accurate movesets timewise.

I would like them to see them use a more generic base template for the movesets. Because when im doing a moveset and i come to a position where that specific wrestler hasn't really done any of the ingame moves in that situation. I always try to pick the most common/generic looking move. They don't seem to do that. Like everybody has a Bulplex as a ground grapple as some sorta base template move. But in reality like 2 or 3 ppl in all of televised wrestling do that.

same thing with all the running floatover neckbreakers and the michinoku driver. Just not good generic choices to give most of the roster.

The Highlanders are the only team I recall doing it.

i checked. sure enuff ur right.

what WWE game had the Highlanders in it?

They never were in a game, but I guess the move got probably introduced when they were around.

maybe somebody @ THQ was a mark for Highlanders?

Epico and Primo used the same finisher when they were Los Matadores.
