Can't be unpopular, it's terrible. Almost as terrible as Rusev's booking since they split him and Aiden.

Yeah its one of the most pointless and shit pairings ever. There was legit no good reason for them to team up other than "we losing alot".

They're both terrible by themselves, so...

I miss Shinsuke when he gave a shit. He was so unique, and now he's just "Ortoning" his way through everything. So much of his appeal is gone. I'm sure he can get it back, but I don't know how. If he was on RAW, then him trolling the hell out of Lesnar as a face and then kneeing his head off would be fun.

Honestly I think its just WWE. I don't mean that its WWEs fault, but I think he came in with very different expectations which have since been crushed.

Could be that, being in his late 30s, he kind of wanted to take it easy and saw WWE as an ideal cash cow where he could coast along and go on auto-pilot for most of it.

No he was phoning it in in NJPW for a while too, aside from a few instances.

It's not always WWE's fault.

Right, I'd be willing to pin more blame on WWE, but the dude started losing steam while getting the push of his career, winning the Rumble and going to WrestleMania, and then staying in the title scene for the next three months. It was somehow the exact reverse of what it should be.

That is because he had no drive or enthusiasm despite it being the push 'of his career'. That shit shines through to the audience. Aside from a couple of good matches he barely put any effort in and we had to watch the same lazy kicks, the same overexposure of that entrance and the same taunts. He was just lazy as *Censored*.

Not sure what there is to argue about. He was famously phoning it in NJPW for his last stretch there and people were calling him out for it. You said it's not WWEs fault and I concurred. I was just giving you some information, I'm not looking for an argument either. Be defensive about it for some reason if you want..?
