You think him not being president is gonna stop that? You're cute

He fails to realize Obama was starting his brand the first day he went into office.

Image is not the same as brand.

Every politcian and especially presidential candidates have their own image tvey are trying to put out.

Trump is its own case and a presedant and that is a fact you can't ignore.

I mean you can, but not if you wanna be serious about it.

You must be living under a rock. You should look up all of the deals the Obamas hand their hands in while he was President and after he left the office.

What are you even talking about?

If you are talking about Obamas making money, than thats a totally different point. Of course he made tons of money from salary, investments and so on on... I don't think anybody is deniying that.

If not, could you explain more?

Trump brand is something totally different.

I'm asking for proof since you called me out the last time for calling Trump a liar when he called off the attack on Iran due to the possible 150 casulties... you said "the burden of proof" was on me. Which made it evident that you had no clue wtf you are talking about and just defending him for the sake of it, and to argue with me just because of the fact we are dissagreeing in general.

https://nypost.com/2018/11/17/the-obamas-are-becoming-a-billion-dollar-brand/

If you don't understand what the burden of proof is when you make a claim, you know nothing about accusations, science, and the law.

That's literally not what was implied at all.

That's why I wrote what I wrote in my first and last paragraphs.

You are trying to argue without comprehending the subject.

You are making comments and posts just for the sake of it.

Where are those "deals" you said the had their hands in during Baracks presidency?

You can't even explain wtf you are trying to argue, so please stop with that already.

And lmao about your science and law bs when you were trying to argue that "the creator" gave rights to citizens of the USA soecificly (yes, I asked you that directly).

I'll just be happy when Trump is gone, tbh. Democrat or Republican, I don't even give a shit. I've never been more exhausted from seeing someone's face or hearing someone's name. It's literally impossible to go a single day. I'm *censored*ing over it. And it's not coincidental. It's by design. Which makes it even worse. It's all about the goddamn brand.

Hell no. Sam said it, but to add (I think), there's no point in someone other than Trump winning if he or she continues what Trump's doing or isn't any better, even if the new prez is more tactful than Trumpet ever was.

Well, *censored*ing of course this is true, and 100% how I feel. I really thought it went without saying that I don't agree with any of the "values" that Trump represents. BUT...for the sake of my sanity, I need to stop hearing the name and seeing the face. I don't want to see any name or any face every single day of my life. There's never been a US "president" like Trump, where you're bombarded by his presence so much. I don't think people consider how much it grinds on you. I never said I'd be happy with another asshole who continues doing what he started. I just need a repose from every single day being filled by his nagging presence. This shit isn't North Korea or Russia. I don't want to start and finish every day by seeing a visage of our "supreme leader".

I am trying to argue that Barack Obama was branding while President. And he is.

Here's an example of one of the deals he had his hands in when he first became President. It's no coincidence.

No, you just don't understand. Big difference.

Again, the Founders believed our rights came from something higher than government, hence why Creator is found in the Declaration of Independence.

well, they were known to be drunkards and all. I remember watching a documentary that said the colonists drank beer often because water was too dirty. Plus, believing in an imaginary thing was huge at the time.

I hate to break it to you, but a majority of Americans are still religious and still believe in "imaginary things".

Which explains why USA is not doing as well as it should, especially socially. Being dictated by religion or trying to hide behind religion to explain some of the bullshittery, pretending that God would be happy with stripping away women's freedom or letting migrant kids die.

Much better than Europe, where the government decides if you live or die. Or the government jails you for simply speech.

What makes Trump a good president?

His policies (besides raising the debt ceiling) are pretty run of the mill conservative.

His nomination of right wing judges mean that we won't have judges on the Supreme Court legislating from the bench.

Tax cuts let people keep more of their own money instead of handing it over to government.

He wants to secure the border. You may not agree with the wall per se, but it is better than just letting everyone come over willy nilly like the Dems want to do.

He is against sanctuary cities, another stupid idea.

He hasn't gotten us into any new wars or conflicts.

However, I wish we could get a fiscal conservative in there like Rand Paul so we can balance the budget again. Paul's two cents plan would balance the budget in ten years. Republicans used to be the one to cut government spending, so I'm pretty disappointed in them in that area. I also wish Trump knew how to shut off his social media and his mouth every once in a while.

I don't agree with alot of that, but you are the only one who every answered that question the several times i asked it in this thread.

That's fine if you don't agree but I will at least engage in a civil conversation about it as long as you come in good faith. That's why I answered.

Did you watch even half of that? I stand by calling him a goon.

Out of my way? No...he said dumb shit. I called him a goon. I posted a video that showcases over an hour and thirteen minutes of the dude being a goober. Prove me wrong. It wasn't as if I took a brief clip of something he said out of context. An hour and thirteen minutes, I posted.

Fight me.

Dude I've stepped away from politics after going through a bunch of shit and I promise you it isn't hard to stay away. It's common that you hear the president in daily news. Always has been. But you acting the way you are is your fault. You're exhausted because you obviously go out of your way to listen and post this shit. You can think he's a goon. Fact is, you still went out of your way to post it after telling us how exhausted you were. Kevin is right. No one feels sorry for you or will take you serious.

What makes Trump a good president?

His ability to lie and mislead his supporters into thinking he's getting things done.

His point was that you keep watching him instead of ignoring him, thus riling yourself up.

You shouldn't have to ignore the political leader in your country in order to be at peace with yourself tbh

Exactly.

It's mentally draining to keep up with all the shit the dude does...but, the alternative is being oblivious to it. And even if I was ignoring him 100%, you still see banners/hats, hear his name in jokes and conversations, on social media, on television. It would be impossible to live in such a bubble as to ignore this guy who is an absolute demagogue and supreme leader/dictator wannabe.

I mean...look, there's talks of him having a huge 4th of July parade with tanks and shit. How do you ignore a dude who wants to roll tanks through the center of America with taxpayer money? That's some straight up dictator shit. The answer is definitely not "go to sleep, because it's easier". No one should have to do that. It's our duty as Americans to oppose this man.

That's an extreme view. I didn't oppose Obama when he was in office. I don't oppose any President. I might oppose some of their policies and I might agree with some, but I don't oppose them directly.

That's bullshit.

Dude is nothing short of a wannabe dictator, and I'm not going to sugar coat my words. I will oppose any "president" (and I used that term lightly) who thinks that Russia, North Korea, and Saudi Arabia are our most valuable and trusted allies.

This dude has women and children drinking toilet water in concentration camps at the same time that he is calling for a $500,000 fine for illegal citizens in a nation that is meant to welcome the sick and the poor...and he has a giant circle-jerking propaganda parade scheduled for the 4th with tanks and flyovers. No...I'm gonna call him like I see him. And it is absolutely our duty to oppose him. This beautiful nation will be much better off when he's gone.

He doesn't believe that. He would rather talk to them then escalate into war.

You are insulting all the Jews that died in the Holocaust or at least making light of it.

I believe the toilet comment you are talking about this. Don't believe everything AOC says.

That's what they are drinking out of. Same thing they have in prisons.

There's a difference between illegal and legal. We welcome legal immigrants.

There, I'm with you. I don't agree with that, especially on the taxpayer dime.

This would get you punched if I was face to face with you.

Really hard, and with zero apology. You don't get to twist the narrative like that.

Also, I sincerely doubt you are naive enough to think that he wants to be friends with those nations out of the goodness of his peace-loving heart. Again...don't twist that narrative. It's bullshit, and you know it.
