Muur
https://www.trueachievements.com/n29112/the-sims-4-coming-to-xbox-one-this-november Quite the surprise since I saw mentions of it being skipped for current gen with them instead putting Sims 5 on there. https://www.gamespot.com/articles/the-sims-4-officially-confirmed-for-ps4xbox-one-re/1100-6452027/ PS4 too
Generations
Hmm...don't see myself buying it, since I have it for PC already and it's definitely a PC game. But it would be cool to get achievements for playing it. If they did something like opening cross-buy for it, and they want to give me a free copy on Xbox for owning it on PC, then I would be happy with that. But, yeah...otherwise, I'm good. Senex Beast
Is the franchise a rpg? I'm not exactly sure what the games are if they have a story mode or what. I just remember having options for challenges
Muur
Is the franchise a rpg? I'm not exactly sure what the games are if they have a story mode or what. I just remember having options for challenges Sims 2 and Bustin Out had story modes but they're life simulators, not RPGs (although there are stats you can raise I suppose like cooking, painting etc)
A-Bel
I wonder if the console versions will keep the glitched out demon babies.
Generations
Is the franchise a rpg? I'm not exactly sure what the games are if they have a story mode or what. I just remember having options for challenges The concept behind the Sims games, is to get a job, raise a family, raise stats, keep everyone happy, and just build a sweet property...pretty much. The goals all pertain to those kinds of things. You want to take your little Sim family at the bottom of the societal ladder, and make them billionaires or whatever. So...yeah, not an rpg, just a simulation with certain goals.

Senex Beast
I know Sims is way older but I meant if it was basically similar to that. I don't know much about the simulator game genre. I have always been curious but only tried one of the games once for a like 5 minutes or less. It was on display somewhere

Saturi
I know Sims is way older but I meant if it was basically similar to that. I don't know much about the simulator game genre. I have always been curious but only tried one of the games once for a like 5 minutes or less. It was on display somewhere - You are getting a Editor on which you can create a male or female sim - The created sim can be a kid, (in the sims 3 we could create toddlers and pets like cats, horses and Dogs too), a Teenager, a Young adult, adult or Senior. - then you can create a whole Family with a relationships net by selecting if they are spouses, Brothers and sisters, Kids and so on (or you just go solo). - you can select the traits of a Person, zodiac sign, Goals, favorites, dislikes interests of a Person. Depending on how you built your sim he/she will connect with some of the other sims better and won't be able to stand others again (which could lead to fights at a certain Point). - then you either create a property with the Money you have or rent one of the ones in one of the neighborhoods available in the game. - from there one you can Train your sim in many things and depending on it's Goals and interests some of these things will benefit it more towards a Job Goal. - there are a lot of talents to pick up and train which is from body building by exercising to paint art or playing Music. - depending on the expansions you bought you can even own your own shop or restaurant or bar, bakery (I think as a doctor even your own Klinik and as a Babysitter a Kids daycare too in the meantime but not exactly sure) and so on - the game currently includes vampires and aliens too (in sims 3 we had also djins, ghosts and lots more) - as a Teenager you can visit Schools, universities and so on too - outdoor activiets and secret places exists in certain vacation maps too (you can edit any map btw). - there are tons of interactions you can have with other sims or objects in categories I hope this "small overview" helps you a bit. Still waiting for a pets Expansion and toddlers/Kids interractions like in Sims3. Also would wish we would get a new big empty map to build our stuff instead of the one small empty neighborhood they gave us.

Ayatollah
I felt The Urbz: Sims in the City worked, but wasn't that console exclusive? Regardless, I see Sims as a PC game. Haven't played a Sims game since The Sims 2.
