black_machismo
I don't know why but I hate the jump ball animation when the ball has been tipped to the player. Not liking the zoom in zoom out when the player catches the ball.
EJ!
I just downloaded the Live demo last night. I gotta say EA is pretty brave for dropping a demo for a subpar game basically confirming low sales for themselves
E#37
#NBA2K18 will feature All-Time Teams for all 30 NBA franchises, comprised of the best players in each team’s history. Which players make it? https://twitter.com/NBA2K/status/896023463239929856 In addition to the brand new All-Time Teams, we've added 16 new Classic Teams! Which Classic Teams are you hoping to see added to #NBA2K18? https://twitter.com/NBA2K/status/896053625499246592 Hell yeah!
EJ!
I just want Brandon Roy Ok Live isn't terrible on its own it's just nowhere near ready to compete with 2K. Goes without saying how bad the graphics miss the mark, every player...I feel like this is what No Mercy would look like if the graphics were updated to the quality of the later years of last gen. Looks like they stretched different faces over the same head. The animations are really weak. The jumpers are very slow by default and the dunks are as choppy looking as they've always been. There are these new reverse and contact layups that look pretty good and the blocks feel and look pretty good. Honestly, the defense and presentation are the best things the game has and 2K could learn from Live with these aspects but that's it.
TNFNS
Live really isn't that bad after playing the demo. Its pretty fun, maybe I find it fun because its different due to 2K giving us the same game year after year.
Ghost.
Haven't bought a 2K in a few years. Tempted to pick this one up.
maskedmaniac
I used to make all-time legends teams as best I could in NBA 2K1 way back in the day, and the Lakers were almost always unbeatable. A lineup of Magic, Kobe, Baylor, Shaq at PF, and Wilt as the starting 5 was too overpowering for anyone else. Would be fun to do that again in this game. OPC
Operation Sports confirmed: The All-Time teams are fully editable in the Roster Creator -You can start a 30-team All-Time MyLEAGUE. I'm excited!!!!!!!!!
black_machismo
Just downloaded the NBA Live demo going to check the game out. Currently testing the Face Scan app. For 2K, didn't buy 2k17 last year as I was not feeling anything new with the game. And NBA games are fun to play in multiplayer mode rather than alone. Online is not fun too.

maskedmaniac
I gotta say I do prefer the Kobe/Gasol Lakers to the Kobe/Shaq versions.
TNFNS
I agree, 2K17 didn't have bald/buzz Kobe. Thats my favorite Kobe.
maskedmaniac
2K17 legend edition was very disappointing. Now I haven't played it but from what I've read the "legend" edition was just some Kobe Bryant pre-order stuff but nothing really pertaining to the in-game itself. Kobe had so many awesome moments in his career they could have made a career retrospective of it like they did with Jordan a few years ago. Would have loved to go for 81 against the Raptors or 62 points in 3 quarter against the Mavs, or all the game winners he had or sinking two free throws with a torn Achilles tendon to make the playoffs, or get 60 in his final game. I could be wrong and this mode was in the game but I never heard anything about this. If it is in the game then I would go out and get 2K17 today instead. OPC
Same here. I think 2k might have planned it but too many of the key players probably refused to be a part of something honoring Kobe, or/and wanted too much money. Just my guess. TNFNS
I might cop Live tbh since its only $40. It wasn't amazing but it felt good playing a different Basketball game for once. Like if someone made competition to Madden *cough* 2K bring it back*cough* I'd feel the same way.
EJ!
It's only $40? Smart. It's a maybe then. Madden would have died with NBA Live if 2K still had NFL rights. NFL 2K5 is still top 3 NFL games, can only imagine what it would be like now. EA knew they had to get 2K the *Censored* up outta here.
Conundrum
NFL is one who keeps renewing the license, but I too am hoping 2K gains the ability to make an NFL Game again. On topic - 2K seems to have stepped up this year (with this and WWE) so I'm excited for both.

TNFNS
Man, so many All Time Teams are gonna be nasty. Lakers, Celtics, Rockets, Bulls, 76ers, Warriors, OKC/SS and the list goes on. Hopefully they have no problems getting anybody.
