Just wanted to say...

It's always been a dumb thing to not have in.

It's a video game. Just don't market it.

They already do that with blood. WWE hasn't had a prolific use of blood in years...but it's still in the game. Leave inter-gender stuff in, but don't say it's in there...don't show it in the marketing, etc. Not a hard solve. Especially with more and more modern promotions having SOLID male vs female matches now...and to go even a step further, they could simply have options in the match rules for it. No reason for it to be out. It doesn't paint WWE in any negative light, IMO. It's a video game.

With all of the custom arenas, championships, etc...maybe WWE doesn't allow inter-gender wrestling on their televised product...but, hypothetically, maybe I want to make my own wrestling promotion where the wrestling is inter-gender. Why is WWE telling me I can't do that? I can literally make exact replicas of the arenas and belts that belong to the direct competition...but I can't choose to have women wrestle men...pointless.

man don't you just miss those save editors and those chyna hacks lol

haha I do!

It's fun to sometimes go back to '13/2K14, which I hacked the hell out of (if that's even the right term - sounds like i'm giving myself far too much credit, when in reality i'm just using a save editor!).

So amazing having a TLC HIAC match.

yeah man i didn't do it to the extent. infact i can't even do it at all now cause i only have a ps3 now but yeah Hacker-T's universe editor was great it allowed you to change gender, add a title to the women's slot, and even back in wwe12 add a show on any day on the universe callendar. lol

I consider it soft modding. But yeah it was great and fun. I'm all for realism and those editors helped add to that. you could still use the fired up ability in WWE13 (i think it was removed) use the nWo trio entrance for hogan solely in wwe13 and 2k14 which imo was better cause in 2k14 he came out with that damn boa lol

but yeah it was really great

and wwe has wanted to remove blood since wwe13. this is not the 1990s this stuff isn't going to happen especially while wwe is still public

this is still their wwe product in game form. the argument you're making is silly for the most part. and anyone would tell you that if you want that you can either do one or two things: 1. collab with someone to make your own game, 2. keep requesting said feature and maybe being repetitive about it will work. That's how those t-shirt sales things got thrown into my career. as well as show intros. people kept spamming every 2k thread by asking for it over and over

^ I'm sorry, but...who are you now?

What gives you the authority or the "know" to say things like that?

Obviously WWE leaves out male/female matches to protect themselves. But I just explained why that makes no sense and they could just as easily leave it in (same as they do with the blood). They would be fine. It wouldn't undermine anything regarding who they are or what they stand for...because it's a pointless video game. Just leave it in as an afterthought. Hell...if they had never taken it out to begin with, then they could have avoided all of this to begin with. Now they need to claim responsibility if they put it back in...which sucks.

They can present the game to the people as WWE television is (with things like blood and inter-gender violence turned off by default)...but those options can easily be buried in the option menus for people to turn on or off as they wish...and I don't think anyone would have a single claim against such a thing...because you would need to go out of your way to change it to be that way.

You're still speaking in a biased fashion, because you want it back in the game. I do get that.

But you need to understand that blood is a bi-product of wrestling, and more importantly, it does still happen in WWE (and will continue to).

Inter-gender matches are something that WWE can avoid, therefore choose not to book on their shows.

So there's quite a large difference. One cannot be helped, one absolutely can.

I think another thing you might need to consider is the power of YouTube and social media now, too. If inter-gender matches come back, you'll see them plastered all over YouTube channels, and subsequently over social media. It's somewhat easier for 2K to justify keeping blood in than bringing back inter-gender bouts.

I know because i KNEW Ledesma, Aaron, Marcus, Aubrey very well and they all told me about these things after THQ went under. I seems to me you're just trying to bait an argument so I'm not going to dignify anymore of this with a response. Have a nice day.

Lol...okay guy.

i was at the playtests smarty pants.

I've seen how you act with people. You don't want to let stuff go. i've seen you get in arguments with GMP as well as others. Not falling for it.

And I don't need your approval.

  • 1 month later...

Chris Benoit kills one wife and everyone starts freaking out...Seriously though, even when it was possible I never did inter-gender matches, it seems pointless. The women are so much weaker and their movesets so limited that it was no fun.

Actually it was fun having custom Chynas, Kongs and so on competing with the males and having smaller women against smaller or equal size guys too as long as one were giving them the appropriate movesets instead of having them all by Default. :)

I'm sure there's a way (was a way?) around this by creating duplicates of the WWE females and doing something or other with them... Sorry that's a bit loose, but I saw it a few months ago on YouTube. Probably been patched, though.

I think the closest we might get is mixed tag matches with forced tags when one team switches, to avoid male-on-female violence.

It is sort of a shame that we can't have any sort of accurate Chyna representation in-game, though. And I'd love to see her in the HOF. I know WWE kept their distance when she was alive and doing porn, but now that she's gone, I can see them honoring the Ninth Wonder of the World properly. (I mean, Sunny's in the HOF, and she's actively soliciting "private Skype" sessions...)
