Posted February 7, 2017 Report Share Posted February 7, 2017 As seen on WWE Raw last night, while an update on Seth Rollins knee injury was provided, as the announce team noted he suffered an MCL tear following his Raw brawl with Samoa Joe, nothing much beyond that was revealed. As for Rollins WrestleMania 33 status, Michael Cole said it was in serious doubt. On todays edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, host Dave Meltzer confirmed that Rollins flew back to Birmingham, Alabama over the weekend, and following the visit to Dr. James Andrews, WWE is working under the impression that Rollins will be good to go for WrestleMania. Meltzer had the following to say: Seth is considered good for WrestleMania. I expect it to have some entertaining moments at the very least. The lame ducks will be Cena and Nikki with their shit capacity for acting...but Miz and Maryse always do excellent work. Honestly, and this is probably unpopular, but I thought Taker/HHH at 27 was a lot better than Punk/Taker. There wasn't a single moment in Punk/Taker where I thought Punk might have him. Triple H vs Brock Lesnar was one of the worst WrestleMania matches in recent memory. It comes down to Punk/Undertaker for 29 vs Rhodes/Mysterio and Punk/Orton for 27. That said, 27 mishandled the hell out of the rest of their card, and for that ranks below 29 for me. 29 at least felt like WrestleMania, albeit a shitty one.
