Getting this for my birthday so I have to wait before I get to play it and I was wondering how the game is, especially 0.2. Also is anyone getting the 1.5 and 2.5 bundle in March? Not a fan of Disney or? I will say that on paper, having Disney characters in a game such as KH can be off putting to some but I dunno, somehow it just works imo. And while it's quite possibly my favorite game series, I've yet to actually finish any KH game but that'll be changing with 2.8 and the 1.5 + 2.5 bundle. So I started with 0.2 and I'm loving it. The game looks and plays super well, has me even more excited for KHIII. I tried a bit of DDD and I hate the camera sensitivity, seems to move too fast and unless I missed it I haven't seen any settings to change that. Also, not sure if it's just me but I was somewhat overwhelmed with how much this game has going on. Just need to get used to it I guess. Oh and in case anyone missed it, Square Enix celebrated the 20th anniversary of FF VII with a new KHIII screenshot. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I swear every few years I have to look up YT vids explaining the series because so many games dropped between 2 and 3 scattered across multiple platforms. I thought missing CoM was harmful. Generations Posted February 2, 2017 Report Share Posted February 2, 2017 I was the biggest fan of the KH series growing up. 1 and 2 are such legendary games...and then I lost respect for the series pretty much every year after that. The constant spinoffs and blatant "here's some random convoluted crap to hold you over" sequels just don't sit well with me. I still want KH3 in a huge way, though. Really have a sort of magic to them that feels unique to the series. Like Pokemon Red/Blue and Gold/Silver...KH 1 and 2 are kinda like that to me...they have that same sort of magic, where playing them just takes you back to that period of time. Probably different for someone who never played them...but I would assume that the "magic" still comes through...it probably just presents itself in a different way. The HD remixes are available there and they're prolly super decently priced. The bundle HFM is talking about coming out at the end of March for PS4 includes Final Mix versions of 1 and 2, which are tweaked versions of the original games without taking anything away from them, and then like two other games to completely confuse the hell outta you, along with some cinematic retelling of [one] of the games or something like that. I guess it's not so bad if you have all of that in one place, but there are so many other games scattering the rest of the series that it's frikkin ridiculous to keep track of it all and get the full gist of what's going on before 3 drops. If I had a PS4 I'd prolly get the bundle. I really did enjoy the KH series quite a bit back in the day when things were simpler, but the convoluted story kinda put me off. Still on the fence on getting those collections to "catch up" or if I should just find a timeline and watch playthroughs of them in order. I'd fear not being able to catch up before 3's release but since it's not coming til 2036(2018, XD) I think I'll be fine Didn't even realize this was going to Xbox. When the hell did THAT happen. It's been for Xbox since the very beginning. And no, the collections are not on Xbox. I've actually had it pre-ordered on Amazon (for Xbox) since January 2015. In fact, I've had it preordered for so long, that the price of my order is actually $40 instead of $60...and that isn't because of the Prime discount or anything...it's just because that's how it is. Lol. In theory, I should get my 20% prime discount in addition to that price...so I'm probably getting this game on day one for under $35...hopefully.
