Guest Fight Me.

TIL the segment where JBL kicks people out at the border was shot at his father's home where he owns a whole bunch of property. They went to the wrong house at first while his family was at church and almost got shot up thinking they were burglars lol

Everybody should like Pantera.

Been a fan of the music for a long time...but, it sucks that the name has become synonymous with Phil Anselmo being a racist turd these days. Speaking of turds, though...Randy Orton.

No wonder there was such an attraction. I liked Pantera, but my cousins liked Primus even more.

I've seen Primus live twice. Two of my favorite shows. And I would have liked to have seen them much more than that, but I never have the free time anymore. Especially on weekends (which is when 99% of concerts are).

Anyway...(not today), but I recently learned that there was another Von Erich boy (Jackie) who died really young. I never knew that until I watched the episode of Dark Side of the Ring, in which they mention it. Sad, sad stuff.

TIL that, in a football/soccer match in 1989, a Chilean goalkeeper named Roberto Rojas did an actual blade job to get the other team, which was Brazil, excluded from the 1990 World Cup in favor of Chile. The situation was that a flare was thrown from the Brazilian crowd near Rojas, who appeared to be hit by it and was rolling on the floor in pain. His teammates then found him bleeding profusely from the head.

With the game called off and the damage appearing to be done by Brazilian supporters, Brazil was looking at exclusion from the 1990 World Cup as punishment, losing the game with Chile automatically which would've seen Chile go to that World Cup. However, an Argentine photographer captured the moment on camera and in that, also the moment where Rojas cut himself with a razor blade that he hid in his goalkeeper gloves.

With the revelation of the blade job, the Argentine photographer saved Brazil from punishment. The international governing body, FIFA, incensed by the deception, decided to exclude Chile not only from the 1990 World Cup, but also the 1994 World Cup. And the blading goalkeeper? Banned for life. Career over.

Not necessarily. You can't really compare views like that when it comes to Youtube and TV. A large percentage of those Youtube viewers would be repeats.

It's entirely possible, but it's not necessarily true.

TIL (via Talk is Jericho), that Vince only paid 2 Million for WCW.

Now...that's more money than I'll ever have...but it seems a ludicrously small amount for what was purchased. Some people own houses worth more than that. Even Jericho joked that he would have bought the damn thing had he known.

TIL that Street Profits don't have wiki pages.

Was looking at a list of WWE personnel on Wikipedia, and I saw that Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford had their names blacked out on the list (ie: not clickable links). I searched for Street Profits on its own, and that doesn't exist either. *censored*ing weird. They've been around for a pretty long time...

Wikipedia has been cutting back alot when it comes to wrestling these past few years.

One of the reasons why they no longer list Finishers & Signatures and Themes of wrestlers :/
