Which version will most of the CAW makers purchase? Both versions same performance?

Just wondering where the majority of the talented CAW makers will be going? PS4 or Xbox One?

Believe it or not, this will be part of my purchasing decision as it did for 2k15 (PS4). I skipped 2k16, but got it for "free" thanks to Xbox Gold.

I don't believe, per past games, there was any performance differences between the 2 systems? Normally Digital Foundry posts videos on differences (resolution/fps). Are they both the same this time around?

PS4 is definitely where the majority of WWE 2k gamers.......or just ur average/casual gamer in general has gone.

If u look at the activity for XB1 vs PS4 boards for WWE 2k16 creations...here and other sites.....the PS4 topics/replies is way more than the XB1s.

sucks...because i just assumed everyone played these games on Xbox. Considering how Xbox had the better version for years. I just never saw a reason to switch over to playstation.......even when the playstation versions finally caught up and got custom music and more CAW layers

Honestly a lot of people jumped because the Ps4 was cheaper than the Xbox One at launch.

I would say PS4 is where most people of note have migrated by now...part of the reason I did too.

I did think of something awhile back that would bring us all together. Upon playing GTA5 last year and converting my data seamlessly from Xbox360 to PS4 via their Rockstar Social Club account gimmick, I'd suggested a fantastic idea would be to do something similar for Community Creations. Since these days, there's no difference between PS4 and XB1 as far as this game goes and layer count or whatever, it would be sweet to just sign up for some kind of online account, where all your CAWs and CC content could be archived and stored and it would be available on CC for both consoles under your online account name instead of gamertag or PSN username.

I first made the switch to XB1 when 2K15 was released, but I then switched to PS4 for 2K16, and I also got the game for both consoles. However, I had issues with CC on the XB1 version of the game and couldn't download a damn thing! Yet I could do so on PS4.

Anyway, just getting 2K17 on PS4.

there are def at least 2 of the good CAW makers still on xbox tho.

360 always had the better version of the WWE games.......ps4 comes out....and everyone switched to playstation.

these hoes aint loyal.

The games are pretty much the same now. Does PS4 have the snap feature like XB1? I find that super useful on xbox, when im making movesets. I can snap to the WWE network and then back to the moveset screen

The thing about 360 is I'm sure most of the good CAW makers went to 360 because they allowed you 64 layers for CAWs and PS3 was stuck at 32 for the longest time (and things were easier to figure out how to mod on XBox...like the Paint Tool texture hacks). From what I hear, WWE games were kind of sad on the original XBox too...especially after the awesome PS1 and PS2 games. In a way, it was just like everyone coming back home to Sony at the same time in the past like 2 years. lol

Well hopefully now that the price has dropped we'll see some of the x-box guys return. I have both systems but Its become a tradition to always play the series with the same set of friends and like 90% of my friends get this for XB1. I literally have one friend who went to PS4 and plays the WWE games.

There are some amazing caws on Xbox, Dre41 and WOJ being two of my favourites. But there is much more of them on PS4.

It certainly played a role in me deciding to switch to PS4.

Have 2K16 on Xbox one when they gave it away for free. While I went diamond creating and uploading in CC in less than 2 weeks, the Xbox section of the boards is really unpopular. It's a downer when you get no replies

I've already preordered it on PS4, so I'll be on there. From what I've seen, CAW look better on PS4 (clearer looking facial features)

Just hopeful pressing R2 to do reversals doesn't suck.. Xbox has the superior bumper buttons/triggers IMO.

i kinda hate the PS4 controller. Its ok for fighting games....or NHL. I don't like it for anything else.

The XB1 controller isn't as good as the 360 controller. But def preferable over a dualshock.

CAW making has become so much easier.....that its not as important to have the same console as all the best CAW makers anymore. Its less about being artistic...and more about being good at importing textures/logos and making them work right.

gone are the days of having to tweak like 10 sliders per face/body part. gone are the days of ppl having to hand draw intricate logos w/ a controller and create things from scratch.
