That's what I'm saying...it was never hard to get to a specific character with the list layout. You could always skip between different letters by tapping the triggers, and you could always go up to get to a specific letter quicker if going down took too long. They wouldn't make a different character select screen just for the demo. Look at the other demo builds of the WWE games. They've always had the grid view with a handful of characters and black boxes all around. Character select is a scrolling list this year, and I'm praising Jebus that it is. Don't get how people had trouble telling who was who (especially since it was alphabetical order) but again, whatever. I may prefer the older style but I do like how this looks.
