WWE2k16 & PPV Arenas

Ever since the network debuted in 2014, maybe it's just me but I've noticed that they have scaled back on the ppv production. Every ppv would get a special staging, since the network they've all basically had the same build with logos changed out to show what event it was. I think Wrestlemania has been the only ppv to get it's own staging.

I really hope that all the arenas this year are all not the same with just different logos. :(

Seeing as that's what WWE is doing at the moment I don't see why it'd be any different in the game. But with CAA back I'll be making custom stages for the PPVs as I hate how the setup is all the same now. Looking forward to seeing the WM stage though.

Oh CAA is back? That solves my issue then.

Yea I can't stand the whole scaling back. It makes every show feel like an episode of RAW/SD. They did it for budget issues but hopefully in the next year they start branching out on the PPV sets a bit more.

I wish they'd at least have a universal PPV set so it was different to the weekly shows.

I wonder if the WM 31 stage/arena will be accurate and be in the day time, or if we'll have an option to change the time of day since the main event was at night

I'd love to see real time day/night effects for the WM arena.

On another note I think they should start scaling SummerSlam to the WrestleMania style sets, maybe even use the WM ramp. It's always billed as the huge event of the summer, yet just looks like another episode of RAW.

I think one of the main things keeping WM from feeling like WM besides the lighting is the entrance ramp, it's way too short. Hopefully they find some way to make a long entrance ramp like in real life

Really hoping that create an arena is actually create an arena and not just edit a stage and ring. Things like actual lighting, hard camera positions and variations of arenas hopefully make it it in.I wan't the silverdome again damn it.

but surely the network is making them a mint, when it hit a million subscribers that's 1 million people paying WWE $10 a month, so that's WWE making 10 million dollars EVERY month from the network alone.

True, but they are burning a lot of money in Hollywood. Those movies aren't cheap.

Live stuff and network shows e.g NXT, Superstars work mainly 100% but any old school content (especially 80s and 90s stuff it seems) can buffer several times in under 30 to 60 seconds, it's nothing to do with my internet and lots of people have the problem. I don't think it's fair to charge subscribers £9.99 for a product that only works half the time. WWE should address it
