Remember hotspots?

I really loved those and don't understand why they were removed.

For those that may not know what they were they were areas where if you got to the location in a certain action it would trigger an auto scene of action. I wish they would return and even include inside the ring ones: choke behind refs back in tag matches for example. Who else wishes hotspots would return?

i remember back in the day...there was supposed to be a hotspot at ringside where you could choke ppl w/ one of the electrical wires or something. I never figured out how to do it though.

Really? I don't remember that.

I think there were four different positions from which you could have an opponent in an ultimate control move if I remember correctly.

Powerbomb, Chokeslam, Gorilla Press Slam and Vertical Suplex.

From those positions you could perform a number of actions like repeated powerbombs or moves to the outside or onto a turnbuckle.

Why oh why did they have to remove them? Bastards!

You need to do the hotspot beside the announcer's table without removing the table's cover. Then the wrestler will remove the cover and use the tv wiring to choke people. Can only be done in svr 2007, since you know the Benoit incident it has been removed.

I thought there was also a Samoan drop, but I could be wrong. I remember the video, for I think svr 2007, showing angle and cena with the wire choke I thought.I really wish they would have kept the environmental interaction, and expanded. It always feels so flat when you have props up in the stage and can't really do anything with them. I would love to bave interaction with all of the ringside area.

Oh I do remember that now. Svr2007 had a lot of great points, seems like when fhe changed the tech on 10 or 11, so much of that went to the wayside.

This. Noobs online would abuse the chokeslam UCM so that they'd just grab the ref, and we couldn't do shit to break the damn hold. Then there was the ground & pound one, where they repeatedly did the pull/choke which was *censored*ing impossible to break.

But instead of finding ways to fix it? THQ were lazy twats, as usual.

LOL. I remember trolling my brother while playing SvR 07 where you can hit your opponent's head on the steel steps. Either you fully put the analog control up or just partially to hit the head faster on the steel steps. Sadly, hotspots only exist to woman and wifi now

Does anyone remember, where if anyone was on the turnbuckle and you run at them you'd belly to belly them from the top rope or something? That was cool.

that's still a selectable move in the game :P

Is it really? How do you do that?

Nvm. I misread lol

Because umm .. he's played the game lol. Trust me, it's still in.

It's like a springboard move, still in but you forget because

Springboard moves are still in, ridiculously hard to do though.
