M3J
RDJ did a great job injecting his own personality into Stark, but he went way over the top in the sequels to the point that it was too annoying. Whereas, I tend to prefer Captain America because he's at least consistent and not as annoying, personality/portrayal-wise. Having depression and drinking problems would change who you are. RDJ was fine in the sequels. Especially Iron Man 3. Yeah, and I did state that after I watched the movies again. His character evolved throughout the MCU movies, and it was nice to see, even though Stark was traumatized and had PTSD. However, the attempts at humor is still annoying. M3J doesnt like comedy. Or at least not the comedy in Marvel movies. Def not going to change his mind. But on that note, if every character was like Captain America, it would be boring af. And theyre all fairly consistent characters. wut I love comedy, but MCU's comedy is too tryhard and/or forced, most of the time.

Beardd
Haha yeah. I dont agree with your stance (it being forced) but everybodys different. I just meant to say that you dont like Marvels form of comedy. Dont know why I put doesnt like comedy. My bad.
M3J
That, I'd probably agree with. I like some of their comedic attempts, but a lot fall flat, like the Antman friends, whereas I found Rudd funny. At least BvS didn't overdo it like most Marvel movies do. Creepia
The comedy is Ragnarok is a bit much IMO.

Creepia
It doesnt make the movie any less enjoyable, not for me. Nor would I say they made a bad decision making such a comedic film. This movie needed to be different than the previous 2 Thor films and Taika Wahtiti is a comedian so its only natural. I genuinely had some good laugh out loud moments. Senex Beast
Does Thor have at least one good serious moment ? Where has Odin been? How badass is Hulk and is it explained how he can finally talk now? What's the post credit scene?
Creepia
Well those are a whole list of potential spoilers. So if you really want to know Ill tag them; Of course it has serious scenes, its a movie. Even comedy movies have drama. Odin has been on Earth, in Norway. Dr. Strange helps Thor locate him. Hulks as badass as he usually is. How he talks isnt explained outright because it doesnt need to be. Its said that Hulk has been living on Sakkar since Age of Ultron as The Hulk and not Bruce Banner. I guess spending that long in that body allows him to grow and evolve as it were. Two post credit scenes. One is just a comedy scene with The Grandmaster and the other is a giant space ship appearing in front of Thor & Lokis. Probably Thanos.

HiryuMK
Just came back from seeing Thor: Ragnorak and it was very fun. Easily the best of the Thor movies and for me, the best MCU movie this year. I am a fan of the MCU but I was very disppointed in GOTG2 & Spider-Man Homecoming. It had a lot of humor but unlike the 2 previous Thor and GOTG2, the humor was fun and done right. Only disappointed that Sif is not in the movie and there no mention or explaination behind it (beside the actress being busy with her TV series). Hela is easily one of the best villain in the MCU. She didn't had the most screentime but every time we saw her, she was badass.
Creepia
Cate Blanchett was hot as *Censored* as Hela too.

Beardd
Wow. I'd put it on the same level as GOTG and Captain America 2. Avengers 2 had nothing on this.
Creepia
Avengers 2 is quite a jumbled movie. Its def not one of the best MCU movies. I rather enjoy it though. However, I agree. Ragnarok was on the higher end of the scale. I appreciated the fact that Odin was in Norway. A lovely little nod to their culture.

HiryuMK
X-Men & Fantastic Four might be coming back to Marvel Studio & Disney! https://twitter.com/cnbc/status/927604378013503493
Senex Beast
Fox is selling MOST of their stuff. I can see them letting go Fantastic Four but not X-Men. F4 in the MCU would definetly be fantastic as Doctor Doom would finally be a MCU villain. Plus, Marvel might bring back proper Fantastic Four comics! Generations
On the one hand, I'm really not a huge fan of the way Disney handles their Marvel IP's...but on the other hand, it's probably the best we can hope for at this point. At least we know that we'll get regular content from Disney, and the properties will be utilized to the fullest degree. It's a bummer that we lose the mature aspect of Marvel because of that. But, hey...the Netflix shows do exist, so I guess there's always hope. I'd take a Fantastic Four Netflix show, tbh.
Creepia
Best part is that the Netflix shows exist in the same canon as Guardians of The Galaxy.
Generations
Best part is that the Netflix shows exist in the same canon as Guardians of The Galaxy. Wait...when did this become a thing?
Creepia
Since always. Theyve referenced the events of The Avengers multiple times. They are kept separate quite a bit, but they co-exist as canon. They are Marvel Studios productions (combined with Netflix). Whereas X-Men are FOX and have no connection whatsoever. Although that could change soon.
Jeb ★
Yeah the MCU Movies, Agents of SHIELD, and Netflix shows are in the same Canon universe
Creepia
^ theres quite the canonical connection between the cosmic and street level side of the MCU lol. All the ABC shows are I believe, including InHumans and Agent Carter. Im not sure about the upcoming Runaways and New Warriors shows.
