So...if 2k17 is great, you won't buy the game? Okay.

No. Probably should of added that by final chance means final time I pre-order. Honestly I should just wait for reviews.

Honestly, I like the direction of where the series is going. The game-play feels more fluid than before, though a tad bit slow maybe just speed it up a bit. The graphics are amazing, and the roster will no doubt change. As long as they keep it on the PC so we can add in guys from 2k15, and improve the AI and put back in a lot of what they removed, it will only be better.

They'd better add all those missing match types back. ZERO excuse not to.

Since it's a simulation of WWE, it makes perfect sense for them not to include them, just sayin'. I'm not trying to defend them, but yeah.

How? Things like tag ladder matches and handicap matches are pretty damn common.

fluid yeah but the ai not doing strong grapples, tag ai a mess, ladder matches don't get me started on that, removal of transitional grapples. i don't know what they were thinking when they did that. all for that stupid minigame. i like the chain grappling but it's more of a chore than a mechanic. and it should not be developed on last gen. by now everyone should have been able to make the switch to current gen. there's no excuse.

lets's see:

they just had I quit at payback

they always have handicap matches

they always have ladder matches

they always have tornado tag matches

they always have special ref matches (still not alot but they do have them)

as far as i'm concerned the only match that hasn't been done since the kane/bray wyatt feud is the Inferno match.

so your coment makes no sense at all

Alright, where to start..

First off, tag team AI has ALWAYS been a mess. Since day friggin one. That is not on 2K. Hell, they did more to fix it with patches in one game than THQ did in 4.

ladder matches, I'll give you.

removal of transitional grapples. Yeah, what's your point? MaskedManiac said he liked what they were doing with the gameplay, which includes that. The mini-game works fine and is a hell of a lot better than constantly hitting a grapple move and just hoping your opponent will reverse it to look good.

Not developed on last gen, again I agree with you. I'm willing to bet however that they are required to provide a last gen version in their contract with WWE. Vince needs his pocket change after all.

and finally, regarding the I Quit at Payback... yeah, what's your point exactly? I may not be a time-lord but i'm fairly certain Payback took place AFTER 2K15 came out. That excuse doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Not sure how his comment makes no sense, but yours sure as hell doesn't fair much better.

No excuse for Tornado Tag matches, no reason to remove that

I pretty much only play 1 on 1 matches so I haven't noticed most of the match types they removed. What I really want is for the AI to be improved. 2k15 is too damn easy. And why did they remove the Epic/Normal/Fast game settings? That was one of those things that last only two years, like the training arena for example.

I've said this before but I really feel that it won't matter if the AI gets better if the game still relies so much on reversals to decide the victor of a match. They need to at the very least separate it in to multiple reversal types of varying difficulty and effectiveness.

i'm not saying it's bad i'm just saying 2k14's tag ai was fine, ai partner helped when it counted, transitional grapples elevated the gameplay on 2k14 for me. also the ai is probably still acustomed to it so that's why it's not doing the strong grapples. and i didn't say i didn't like the minigame i'm just saying it should happen when 2 players grapple at the same time like in 2k14 when you did that whoever pressed a the fastest won the struggle tieup and ended up in a grapple state side headlock etc. okay i understand the part about last gen i just hope that doesn't take away dev time for current gen. all i was saying about payback is that they are still doing i quit matches. i'm sure there were some last year as there were in 2013 i'm sure. all i'm saying is people saying x match type shouldn't be added cause it doesn't happen in wwe is bs because look at the moves. look at all the indy moves they put in. if that were the case then those indy moves wouldn't belong. don't get me wrong i love them, but yeah that's the argument there. You cool man all i'm saying is i want a good game as we all do lol. Hey atleast it's not backstage assault! :XD

sorry i didn't format this i just got done putting a futon frame together and i am tired as hell but wanted to respond before i forgot lol
