So with WWE2K15 now being on the PC, will we have more CAW spots to use, hopefully we will do on account some of us have big hard drives, and more space! Plus if anybody knows will it be easy to update superstars entrances themes, movies etc by simply swapping around some files?

Nope. Still only 25 slots on the PC version... unless a modder finds a way of increasing that number, but I doubt that will be possible.

Possible? I think so.

Gonna happen anytime soon? Nah. Unless the demand is high enough, I doubt anyone will even look into it anytime soon, especially as soon as models can be imported as DLC characters.

Of course it's possible. The guys on the modding board over on 2K's WWE 2k15 forums are pretty good. They've already discovered that they can mod a lot more of the game than they originally thought. Currently they're gathering data and figuring out what needs to go where for mods to work. They're going to try to create an all in one utility that will let you easily mod/add all the things you may want to change in the game.

So they're kind of making their own little mod manager, much like the nexus uses. Very interesting indeed, hopefully it will only take small tweaks to be compatible with future releases.

There's a modding section on the official 2K15 forums? Shit, 2K are being a LOT more open about modding than I was expecting.

Which is great. Nobody wanted them to pull a ubisoft and start hard-locking their games. 2K know what PC brings to the table, and hopefully if mods get in depth enough, it'll push them to make greater improvements between games so that players keep going for the new release instead of sticking with old.

Has anyone found out how much space a CAW takes?

It's a bit complicated. I can tell you that CAWs for previous gen games clocked in at roughly 1.5MB.

The 3 save files for CAWs in 2k15 add up to about 1MB. However, there are other files that are needed. I'd say these other files are where the meat is. At the end of the day they're not nearly as big as 2K lead you to believe. Both the PS4 and Xbox One have 8GB of RAM, so even they're more than capable of handling 100 of these CAWs. I think the issue has more to do with the sloppy way they're saved than their sizes.

Oh no don't get me wrong, the fact that 2K are supporting this is absolutely fantastic. I was just massively surprised.

I don't blame ya. Even if 2K wanted to support modding, I thought for sure the WWE would veto it.
