Tom Rice Posted October 31, 2006 Report Share Posted October 31, 2006 Hi All, Not so much SVR2007 news, but I am wondering if there's anyone here from the UK / Europe who will be buying the game on release day, or who's pre-ordered it. I've pre-ordered a copy for PlayStation 2 which I expect will come on the 9th or 10th. What I need is if someone is getting it for XBOX360 ON release date, would you be able to create a CAW right away, preferably take pics, and send it to me? It would only have to be a really quick test CAW, obviously with a formula though. If so, please read on: As the CAWs for XBOX360 and PS2 [i]COULD[/i] be different, I need to know as soon as possible so we know whether it will be necessary to separate XBOX360 CAWs from PS2 ones on the site. If someone could send me an XBOX360 CAW (preferably with a pic) right on the UK release, then I will try to make it on my PS2 and see if it comes out the same. Equally I can make a CAW on the PS2 version and send that and you can test it on XBOX. We would need to test body morphing figures, colours, and various CAW parts - like if all the pants designs, hair designs etc are in the same place, and see if it comes out the same. If anyone could do this please let me know. Even if you have the PS2 version you could probably help by doing some if there's a small group of us. We'll see how many people are getting it early and willing to do it. This would be a massive help. Tom Rice Posted October 31, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 31, 2006 Well I would have thought they'd be the same too, but RJT pointed out there could be issues with the morphing, as the graphics are different in Xbox360, different morphings may look different. It would make sense that -50 width for example would have the same effect on both consoles though. The graphics would be a bit different but the effect should still be the same. I just thought perhaps if we made a quick CAW when it's released just incase, then we'd know for definite early on - before any confusion starts. Anyway, i think it would be the same with both consoles, just the graphics are differnt. Tom Rice Posted November 1, 2006 Author Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 It's up to your preference where you prefer to buy really, I've pre-ordered mine online at www.gameplay.co.uk, they usually send them the day before release to make sure you get it on time, and often they are cheaper there than in the shops. However we will now be separating Xbox360 CAWs from PS2 anyway due to the difference in number of layers - so I don't really need the CAWs to test with.
