E#37
- PWInsider reports that Kurt Angle is believed to have signed a new deal with TNA that allows him to divide his time between working for the company and taking on acting work in Hollywood. Angle, who has been in Hollywood working on his acting career, is expected to be part-time with TNA going forward. It is believed that Angle’s re-signing is the big announcement that Dixie Carter has been teasing on Twitter. As previously reported, Angle’s deal with TNA expired last month and while he spoke with WWE, there was only interest if he was going to commit full-time, which Angle wouldn’t agree to. http://411mania.com/wrestling/update-on-kurt-angles-future-with-tna-spoiler/ Well this sucks. Kirky
Don't know why WWE couldn't offer him this kind of contract, given that Batista, Jericho, Lesnar, RVD and Rock all come and go when they want to, giving them the chance to work on other things outside of WWE. Makes no sense to me why a legend like Angle can't be given the same kind of deal. I get the feeling he'll never be back in the 'E

Why couldn't they have offered Kurt the part-time contract he wanted? The 2015 Rumble would have been the perfect time for his return.
LastMinuteLapras
I guess Rusev will be unstoppable then. Seriously, I was really hoping for Angle to go back to WWE. So many interesting matchups that could've happened (vs Bryan, vs Rusev, vs Orton, vs Lesnar, ect.)
Generations
Biggest f-up by WWE in recent memory if true. Angle would have been a huge shot in the arm for WWE to make things interesting again.
Crazy.
*Censored* this shit, really wanted to see him back in the WWE. Instead, he'll be back to the shithole known as TNA. WWE are retards.

All have the potential to he 5* matches.

Generations
"Let himself go" is kind of a moot point, considering he's been training intensively for a comeback.

Generations
Well, I don't think "let himself go" is the correct terminology in any case. Perhaps "slowing down" or "losing his edge".
Crazy.
"WWE should stop bringing back all those oldtimers and focus on the talent they have." "Why didn't the WWE bring this oldtimer back?" Not really the same thing. Angle isn't really Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair level oldtimer where their days of wrestling are long gone. He isn't Rock either, whom the whole show would be centered around. Yeah, he's nearing 50, but he's still pretty much an active competitor who can still go better than most of the guys past their time can. Sure, he's not the same wrestling wizard as before but that doesn't mean he's crap either. Age catches up with the best of them, it's normal. And if Jericho and RVD can still get multiple runs, I don't see why Angle should be an exception.
Generations
Not only that, but Angle has always been a great talker and story-teller, as well as a great comedian. Merely interacting with the current WWE roster would have been a thing of beauty. Staying in TNA does literally nothing for him...(aside from the obvious income). WarGreymon77
The schedule is better for him, he adds to TNA, and I really just think his WWE run would look just like RVD's latest forgettable run, or even Hogan's recent appearances.
