If 2k had been up front from the start and had not kept us in the dark and said there was going to be major cut backs on the roster and have only 63 superstar's and 3 manager's plus they were removing create a story and create a finisher plus tight restrictions on community creation's. Would you all have still bought the game

Sorry to anyone that got the ps3/360 versions... BUT the silver lining is we now know what to expect for Next gen versions... and aside from new gameplay mechanics... probably not much.

CAW mode is probably gonna be cut back the same,
lack of roster is already tragic,
and now with the CC situation its effectly put us back to CAW formulas,

Not gonna pay up front for this now, i'll save my £75 (hogan edition) and probably another £45 on the DLC.

Consumer trust goes a long way compared to a cheap cash-grab. I wouldn't have bought it, but I would've respected them for it and gladly looked forward to what they had in store for 2K16 instead. But they did the opposite, kept a tight lip, and let people find out these things on their own after spending $60+. Didn't help that Marcus & Jared kept getting people's hopes up when asked about things via twitter/forums.

Now the trust is damaged on their first proper year with the game and poor Marcus has to be dumped with the job of repairing that from now till 2K16, unless they repeat things all over again.

Really, I wouldn't be surprised if the bad press surrounding last gen will affect the sales of current gen.

Yes, yes & yes. If they were honest they would have already been better than THQ. Instead they proved they were far worse by *censored*ing up the creations suite & not bothering to tell anyone.

Yes. The only reason I keep buying the games is because I love having the latest rosters, so as long as I still have Bray Wyatt, Sami Zayn, and Sting, I'm good to go. Sure the creation suite isn't what it used to be, and that's putting it lightly, but at the end of the day I'll probably make my self-based CAW, two other shitty ones, plug them all into my Universe and play that for the next year.

This. I edited the quote slightly so the situation applies to me but the main point's still the same.

would this game go under worst games now ?

Square Enix: IGN rated 5.5

final fantasy 14 online, was so bad that the ceo of square enix had the producer resign, and they pretty much fired or moved the people who worked on the game to new projects.

later SQ said sorry to the fans of SQ about the poor product they gave out, how one game damaged the name of final fantasy.

EA Games: IGN rated 7.4

Command and conquer 4: was the worst of the series it was so bad, EA closed down EA LA and cancalled any future cnc games. Battle cast went off the air, they stopped updating the site and pretty much fired all there forum staff members.

I saw the obvious signs and didn't buy, didn't think theyd screw it up much though. I think if it bombs bad on new gen then maybe people will be forced to quit or be fired, I'm expeting the new gen to out sell old gen by lots don't think it will be one of the best selling games to date either.

Notice how mum Stephenson has been? Probably cleaning out his desk as his latest stint is coming to its end

lol Doubt it, can't really blame him though. Guy made his big return (3rd time now I think) after Jared stepped down only to have all this mess plopped down right at his feet. I don't really envy his job.

Wow! Guys, I haven't been this disappointed in a WWE game since Smackdown vs. Raw 2009... And even that game was still fun despite not having a campaign mode or universe mode... I can't believe they removed create-a-story... I can't even believe how they've limited the game for the last gen consoles...

The information that we WERE given back then.. Updated roster.. tweaks on Universe Mode (?)...... and I guess that was it? I pondered it, but then when they finally released a picture of the graphics for the 360, which was a picture of Triple H and Shawn Michaels in a match. I felt like it was just the same graphics we had this year. Then word got out about Next Gen exclusives.. aka the NXT stuff, which made me decide the 360 was going to just be a re-hash. I had changed my mind about it and was going to stay with WWE 2K14.

Then I heard all the stuff Sunday about no CAF, no custom music, no story designer.

CAF was actually good depending on the movie you were wanting that was capable of actually being made in that mode. Depended on the circumstances of what move you were wanting in the game and whether it could be made.

Story designer, I personally didn't use it to the full effect that everyone else did. Which, folks have come out with some fun and entertaining stories to play through. I just used the scenes in it to set-up screen grabs for my Universe Mode reports.

Custom Music, I liked custom music. It kind of takes away from the game if you're only given the in-game wrestler theme music to give a guy you made. Unless you're doing 60's to early 80's guys when theme music had just started to be implemented in professional wrestling.

Then came yesterday and this limitation on Community Creations and how many you can make or download depending on your online activity or some nonsense like that. Think about that and think about what this site is all about.

All in all, it just seemed like the interest in the game for me started lowering and lowering and then hearing about the CC thing, a bit of relief that I didn't buy it... Especially after this past year when I went all out on making Create-A-Wrestlers and IMHO I feel like I did a decent job with them. It might just be me, but the CC thing feels like a punch to the gut of CAW makers.

I wouldn't have gotten it day #1 release. I might.. that's a big might.. bother with it when it's in the $10 bin or so, again I like current rosters in games. I most likely would have stuck with WWE 2K14.

I was originally going to buy both the 360 version and One version, but seeing how poorly the last gen version looks, I've decided to just wait for the current gen release. So, my answer is "no", I suppose. After seeing what the game is like on last gen, I have decided not to waste my money on it. Although, I MIGHT buy a cheap copy after the price drops significantly...but that will be long after playing the One version, and just for shits and giggles to see how the 360 version it is.

Wanted to buy both PS3 and PS4 Versions.

Happy I didn't after I saw all the removals and changes.

Now we even have the confirmation that all the removals affect the PS4 Version aswell.

On the top of that, they restricted the MyCareer mode to males only (VERY stupid move) so I won't have any enjoyement through it on next gen either.

It seems as if I'll probably end up cancelling my PS4 Version too. :(
