What Is Your Oldest Possession?

What is the oldest item YOU possess?

By YOU, I mean only you use it and it is not a shared item in your household.

This does not include body parts, so I will now take the fun out of the upcoming, "My penis" jokes.

Without any further ado, my oldest possession is my Nintendo 64 console, which I have had since 1998. It's still in working condition, and has my original copy of Super Mario 64 still included. The only thing I had to replace was the controller.

So yeah. Post your oldest possession.

It's kinda hilarious that the majority of people here don't own anything older than an N64. Jesus...

My oldest object is probably this clock I have on my liquor shelf. Nothing special...just one of those gold-faced clocks in a wooden frame, with glass around it. Not real gold, obviously. Just a run of the mill clock...but it's probably still older than I am. I painted the wood a dark blue color for the hell of it.

Darn whippersnappers and their technology.

I have 3 pebbles that I took off the beach in Tenerife. They're roughly the same size, about the size of my palm. They're perfect to use as paperweights or as ornaments. I'm not exactly sure how old they are but I estimate them to be between 13 and a couple of hundred million years.

If we're counting rocks and stuff, I have a piece of iron ore from my back yard. Where I live is high in iron content. There are lots of iron mines at local parks and stuff that you can visit (closed up, of course). Anyway, I have a piece of iron that's about the size of a golf ball. It weighs a lot. If I threw it at someone, I could probably kill them. If we're counting geological finds, that would be my oldest possession.

On my 6th birthday, my mum gave me a special chain locket which has my initials on the front and my mum and dad's name engraved inside the locket. It's coming up to 17 years now to its possession and I believe it will stay with me for the rest of my life.
