Another nice thread!

I'm not too heavy into Jazz but maybe this wasn't the best place to start. Still, I appreciate it for what it is. I think I got into this through a Lou Reed/VU interview where he mentioned this album as being an influence on WL/WH.

Also got into this a bit. This one came from John Sinclairs MC5 book "Guitar Army". He and the 5 were big into Jazz.

Maybe not Jazz in it's most traditional form, maybe more of a Jazz/Funk hybrid, but these are my favourite Miles Davis records

Pangaea' and its predecessor 'Agharta' (1975) were both recorded on February 1, 1975 at the Osaka Festival Hall in Japan. The Agharta concert took place during an afternoon matinee, whereas Pangaea was recorded in the evening.

This FlyLo track from his upcoming LP's grown on me quite a bit. After listening to his six projects, it does walk down déjà vu avenue a little, but the time signatures and blends of jazz-fusion are just crazy:

P.S: Yes, as the link says, Herbie Hancock is on the song. He's on keys.
