I cant wait! Been a while since I've seen anything SHIMMER related.

The show was fantastic as usual!

Ivelisse vs Kimber Lee was THAT hard hitting that I was feeling the pain on my own body everytime they kicked or punched each other. :P

Evie vs Hikaru Shida was a awesome match that got a standing ovasion from the crowd!

All the other matches were great aswell!

A must see show for sure! :)

I know this is a old Topic but I didn't wanted to create another new one so I decided to revive the "forgotten" one.

Forgotten because there were several Shows since then but we never posted them here.

So tonight the following Show is taking place (30 Minutes from now).

Even if you miss it you can still buy it in ippv Video on demand at wwnlive.

SHIMMER Women's wrestling announced the following this morning:

SHIMMER Women Athletes returns to action on Saturday afternoon, April 2nd, with SHIMMER 80 live on iPPV! The event will take place as part of the WWNLive Experience at Eddie Deen's Ranch (944 South Lamar) in Dallas, TX. Bell time will be 4pm CT. History will be made at SHIMMER 80, as the event will feature a tournament to crown the inaugural holder of the Heart of SHIMMER Championship!

Two SHIMMER championships were established during SHIMMER's first 10 years of operation. SHIMMER 11 & 12 in 2007 featured a two day SHIMMER Championship tournament, while SHIMMER 21 in 2008 included a gauntlet to determine the first SHIMMER Tag Team Champions. With SHIMMER's notoriously large roster of female professional wrestlers from around the world, a third championship added to the mix will provide the athletes on the roster with a new goal to achieve.

Visit www.dgusa.tv/morethanmania/Tix/shimmer.html to purchase tickets to the SHIMMER 80 live event in Dallas!

For those wondering, the next weekend of SHIMMER tapings in the Chicago area (SHIMMER 81-84) are slated to take place during the month of June. More details soon!

SHIMMER Women Athletes is preparing for another round of events and this time a celebrated veteran is joining the roster. SHIMMER announced on twitter last night that Mickie James is set to join the action.

https://twitter.com/SHIMMERwomen/status/760297069055610880

On its website, SHIMMMER writes:

Were pleased to announce that Mickie James will join the SHIMMER roster on our November 11th & 12th events at Logan Square Auditorium! Mickie has been a key figure in womens pro wrestling for the past 15 years, helping to lay the groundwork for the rise of womens wrestling on the independent scene during the early 2000s, and then appearing on worldwide television shortly thereafter. On 11/11 & 11/12, we look forward to celebrating the 11th anniversary of SHIMMER by finally adding Mickie James to the list of amazing competitors who have wrestled on our events!

SHIMMER 86-90 events will take place in Chicago November 11 13. The events on Friday and Saturday will be held at Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago, while the Sunday show will take place at the Eagles Club in Berwyn.

RISE, a new promotion from former SHIMMER ring announcer Kevin Harvey, is looking for the next internet darling to be a part of the promotion’s first event: RISE 1-IGNITE.

A few days ago, women’s wrestling fans saw the debut of RISE’s new YouTube campaign, “You’ve Got Two.” For young female wrestlers, it’s a great opportunity to show wrestling fans what they got and hopefully be a part of RISE’s first seminar with guest teachers Colt Cabana and one of Britain’s greatest women’s wrestlers today, Saraya Knight.

The promotion announced that “Derby Doll” Layne Rosario, “The Duchess” Ayzali and Gemma Cross are participating in their World Class Development Seminar on November 10. That also means they are also in the potential talent pool for the card for RISE’s premiere event. Those who are willing to participate have until September 10 to submit their promos for #YG2. Then, on September 11th, voting will be made available on the official RISE website. Voting will run until October 1 at midnight.

“In wrestling, to evolve, you have to get out of your comfort zone. It has been said, ‘If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got,’” Kevin Harvey says in his hype piece. “The ability to carry a promo or vignette is a hard thing to master, and these ladies were the first to take steps through training and feedback offered by RISE and shatter the glass ceilings of their former comfort zones!”

It is a major opportunity for young women’s wrestlers to make themselves known in one of women’s wrestling’s classic venue, the famed Berwyn Eagles Club in Chicago.

For more information, visit their website at rise-wrestling.com.

Independent wrestler and Heart of SHIMMER Champion Nicole Savoy just announced on her Facebook account that she suffered a torn ACL.

Savoy was apart of the WWE tryout camp last week.

Savoy wrote on Facebook :

Its already out, the news about my injury but I know owe it to everyone to come out myself and say that yes, I am injured because of a torn acl in my right knee. I take alot of pride in my wrestling abilities and sometimes Im stubborn, but with something like this, I am taking the doctors, family, and my trainers advice to focus on getting healthy again. I greatly apologize to those who have been looking forward to seeing me wrestle on upcoming shows. I just want to thank those who have supported me up until this point in my wrestling journey. It’s going to be a long road back to getting better but I know this is something I have to get through by myself. I truly am sorry again.

I guess AAA owns the Sexy Star gimmick? Couldn't she just keep the look and get a new name? Lol

But happy to see she's staying in wrestling, I thought she was moving on to boxing.

She fortunately changed her mind so we can still enjoy her in Wrestling! :)

Masked in LU and unmasked in SHIMMER. :D
